It works OK, but, it cannot be commanded by HomeLink systems in older cars (roughly pre 2012) without a compatibility bridge (a separate component). **Q: Does this come with a chain or do I need to order a chain separately?** A: The chain is included. Everything needed to install it was in the box. Things to be aware of are, one, the chain drive is only warranted for one year and the belt drive for longer. One would think the chain would be warranted for longer that a rubber belt. And two, the remotes do not work with older cars that have built in remotes. Have to buy an adapter.
