PLEASE !!! If you want to buy this bike, learn from my mistake ... I trawled Amazon for the cheapest deal as we do, and found these bikes at £445.00 which I thought was a bargain compared to what I've eventually paid, £699.99. I decided to bite the bullet & buy one at this reduced price and went ahead with the purchase. At the time I noticed the following message on the product page ....."Dispatched from and sold by WE CAN'T Dɪsᴘᴀᴛᴄʜ T0 ALL Aᴅᴅʀᴇssᴇs. BEF0RE "Aᴅᴅ Tᴏ Bᴀsᴋᴇᴛ" Cᴏɴᴛᴀᴄᴛ Us: ✉✉info[ᴀᴛ]ggg727.com✉✉."I'd already purchased the bike but emailed the seller anyway just as a precaution.Over the next couple of days, I received a couple of emails back from two different sellers saying that their accounts had been hacked !!!, one seller I recall was called Ollies trollies who said ...."I am very sorry but our Amazon account was hacked by some low-life, Amazon quickly took control and stopped all transactions.Please do not reply to this message as we have over 1400 to reply to and it will simply add to our workload, there is really nothing more we can do. I am told by Amazon that no money has been lost (except by us!).The Real Ollies Trolleys"Very worried, I contacted Amazon by phone and they confirmed that they had cancelled my order, refunded my hard earned cash and pulled the fake adverts .... I've since seen the fake ads seem to be back and it's almost impossible to find the real advert, which is why I posted the link above.I really do hope this helps to prevent others making the same mistake I did. It stressed me so much I almost didn't try to purchase the bike again and I worried constantly until it actually arrived . I have to add that Sports HQ were terrible about keeping me informed as to the status of my order, it just kept saying order received for 5 days till I emailed them to complain .... the bike arrived about 5 hours later lol but my order still says i'm awaiting delivery!!!!!ANYWAY......Where do I start???? First of all, I went for my first ride on this bike today, did 13K on Forestry Green Lanes and now have a very tired Border Collie, which was the main point of getting this bike ... Job Done!!!!I haven't ridden a bike for many years due to a clicking knee when I used to ride a bike for leisure. I'm now in my 50's and was skeptical that I would be fit enough to ride a bike after all this time but I wanted to exercise my dog better. It was brilliant once I got my confidence a bit, wobbly at first with a vice like grip on the handlebars, but the motor is quite simply the best thing ever! I only ever used it on lowest assist level apart from stepping it up a notch once to get up a steeper bit of path .The terrain was pot holed,rutted a bit muddy in places with various inclines all of which were a breeze. My poor collie Skye soon started being behind me rather than in front lol and ended up getting a constant fast paced 13k run rather than our usual more sedate 5k stroll.I bought this bike specifically for country green lane riding with my dog so wanted something that would fold up to put in the car to take to places I want to ride, rather than on public roads, which is why I chose this model with suspension .... thank goodness I did, it works brilliantly on the pot holed paths and saved me from getting a battering ;). I didn't want a high tech mountain bike as I found them to big for me and hard to get on. This bike is easy enough to get my leg over the bar in the middle without a struggle and it still looks cool, not like a ladies shopping bike!This bike is not what I expected from reading other reviews and Q&A sectionThere is NO throttle !! I think that is due to British Law changes?Instead there is now a built in odometer which also allows you to choose what level of motor assist you want simply by pressing a + or - button on the unit and it tells you your speed and distance ... I really like this and it was easy to use.The gears are on a twist shift on the right handle bar instead of a thumb shift not a problem for me.The bike is quite large ... I'm 5'7and have the seat and handlebars at there lowest height, I can just comfortably touch the ground with my toes at this height.It's quite heavy for me as a woman, but I have been able to carry it through the house and out to the car and it fits in the boot of my Skoda Fabia with ease and not too much problem lifting it in and out. It folds down easily, once I realized that the release catch for folding it in half needs to be lifted up a bit like a bolt to disengage the 2 halves of the bike frame.It arrived fully assembled and just needed a few bit tightening up, tires needed pumping up b4 first ride. Battery was easy to charge either on bike or can also be removed. came with 3 keys.there were a couple of tiny bits of rust on the bike but nothing too bad.Really good side stand.I hope this bike continues to be as good as it was today, I'll be very happy if it does.Hope this review has helped :)

I bought this on Amazon a couple of months ago, I'm paying it off at around £44 a month for one Year. I was very interested in electric bikes but had to stick to sites that did interest free credit like here. My intention was to ride to work, this hasn't happened yet, I fold up and put in boot of car and ride halfway in, saving nearly 30 miles a week. I'm nearly 16 stone so it puts me near the top of recommended weight for this bike.So how is it?At first it took a little getting used to, previous reviewers have noted you have to tighten up many bolts and screws, this is true but not that many really, it does come in a box after all. I'm 6''2" and bike is a bit small for me, well, compared to my racer. At first I thought it wasn't very good and felt my usual impulse buy regret but it has taken me this long to get how it works!This bike is very comfortable, suspension in very pliant and provides really good ride (65 psi is right) and brakes give confidence. The way to benefit from a bike like this is to not expect any assistance above 15mph, I put my foot down on bikes and go fast as I can, with this bike, drop it down to 3rd gear and ride it relaxed, it's a 10mph cruiser and I have to say having only just realised this, it really works, go above 15mph and you will get no assistance. So I've had to re-learn how I attack the road and I'm happy with the results, it provides good assistance and makes riding really easy just a little slower. Riding without assistance is initially quite hard as you are used to assistance, feels like an old Butchers bike, one reviewer said like riding through treacle, they aren't wrongAs a very tight person who regrets most of his just got my wages purchases, I really am happy with it and will keep. The bike looks nice too, folds up in literally seconds! I was really impressed, Handle bars, frame and you're done. I was thinking of getting a longer seat post so my legs were extended like on my racer but it isn't that type of bike, it is a really comfortable cruiser. If you are like me and are interested in getting an electric bike, my experience with this model has been very positive. I looked at finance options on many electric bikes, gradually going up to £2500 because of quality parts etc, I am so glad I didn't, this will do, it will be paid off in 10 months and I'll have for a long time. It has really incentivised me to exercise, much more than my cross trainer covered in just washed clothes! It folds up, sits in my boot and I love it, going to the off licence has never been easier! As the good weather approaches this is going to become my transport, I recommend as a first buy. For the money it really is pretty decent and a good economical way into electric biking. Just remember to tighten screws on bike and get air pressure right before riding.
