Now I have very thick hair African American with 4b hair. I use a lot of heat just because it's easier for me to style when I don't have my coily hair. I bought this to hopefully reframe myself for putting on so much heat on my head and passing my hair so many times with a straightener to get that salon look. But when I did this and do note my straightener is on the highest temperature this did not make my hair tangle free and this was a harder process to try to adjust my hands to and it took longer than me going over my head of hair with just a regular straightener multiple times. Now it didn't burn the plastic at least for my straightener which is almost 440 degrees but it did have me burn myself but trying to use two products at once. But it is advertised and looks just like what you purchase and it's affordable at the end of the day and it does do its job but maybe not for people that have the same hair as me. Now for time convenience I would not use this for anybody that goes to school and only has 30 minutes to spare for their hair, it would not be easy to work with or easy to use. But the quality within itself if you want to use less heat and try to be more cohesive with your hair it works well but do know if you have a lot of hair in your head this might not be for you. And this is coming from somebody that paid with this I out their own pocket and was hopefully trying to avoid less heat it just made me put more heat on my head and took longer. And the leave out that I had was only about an inch so imagine your whole entire head that you have to do. No I didn't feeling breakage when I use this and I didn't feel any compose from this product but I feel like it was inconvenient at the end of the day. If I wanted to use something like this I would use a round brush or maybe even a different styling tool just for people that have more hair and wants to use less heat to keep their hair as healthy as possible.
