At Last!
This is the third toaster I have ordered since my 15 year old trusty Cuisinart compact toaster bit the dust. Replacement Cuisinart Compact was very cheaply made (in China) with flimsy lowering lever - returned. Pricey Kitchenaid 2-slice toaster (made in China) was non-functioning right out of the box, didn't heat up, didn't pop-up and couldn't make toast, an epic fail -- returned. Then I ordered this retro toaster from Wiltal (made in Soligen, Germany) and third times a charm. It was exactly as described, high quality materials, exquisitely crafted with extra features like a cover and a warming device, looks fabulous and best of all, makes perfect toast every time. A steal at the selling price of $49.00. I got the white which is really a light tan color -- love it. Buy this toaster, you will be glad you did.

So far so good
I've only had the toaster a short time, but here's what I think so far, if you insist... 1) I LOVE the lid! That alone makes it worth it to me! I live in the country, dust & dirt & spiders! 2) And the warming rack?! C'mon! 3) The mechanism is smoooth! Almost too smooth: sometimes bread in the near slot bounces into the far slot when it pops, and if it's in the far slot, you have to go a-huntin behind the can opener for your toast! 3) Now I don't know why it is that every toaster I buy has to toast one side more than the other... after 30+yrs at least this one gets close to even! So it's beautiful, practical, and I'm happy!!

Cool and works well!
I love the green ! Fun with a retro vibe. So far works very well. The metal cover is a cool feature. Price was good too!

Worth it!
I love it. It works perfectly and looks amazing. I had the setting on number three for toast and it was evenly browned and toasted. Worth the money. I love the dust cover on top. The easy pull out tray to clean it.

You Need It!!
I love the retro look and this toaster brought it to life in my own kitchen. The money value is absolutely worth it. It’s so cute, I love the color too, it’s my favorite. If you’re thinking about getting this toaster, just do it! We’ve had it for a year and a half now, and it’s still going strong.
