My eye doc suggested a mask that would stay warm instead of a warm washcloth which barely last a minute or two. I’m having issues with dry eyes and blocked oil glands around the eyes. Using this mask as a warm compress has helped so much!I microwave the insert it for 40 seconds and it lasts 5-10 minutes and apply 2x a day. And it’s very relaxing.As far as some reviewers mentioning and odor, it does have a natural seed type slight smell, but it’s not offensive in any way. The elastic band is adjustable and comfortable. Great for sties if you’re prone to that. It has helped immensely. Highly recommend.

I'd like the mask fabric it is very soft and I like that you have three pieces. You get the outer cover with the head strap, you get the flax seed eye mask and you get the cold mask. I used it right away and warmed up the flaxseed mask for 15 seconds in my microwave. It was very comfortable and warm but not hot. I would not warm it for 30 seconds. I think that would be too hot for your eyes. I liked the eye mask that comes with this it is like a silk fabric very soft and very comfortable. I wish it had elastic straps though. I did not like that it doesn't come with straps because it will fall off your face. I will, however sew on an elastic strap for this. It's very easy to do either by hand or machine. The outer mask that has the pocket has a head strap with a buckle. I do not like the buckle because it hurts my head when I lean back. I may take the buckle out and adjust the elastic strap and sew it back on. The flaxseed eye mask is a little bit heavy for the eyes. I think it is meant to be worn for just a short time. I bought it because my eye doctor suggested a warm compress. I think I will have to open it up, take some of the flax seed out and resew it up again to make it lighter for my eyes. I felt that the weight of the eye mask with the flax seed was too heavy and was giving me headaches after wearing it about three times during the day. Overall I think but this is a good mask and I like the fabric that was used and the versatility of this mask.

Nicely packaged. Gets cold but does not stay cold very long. If you are not needing it to stay really cold it’s a good option.

These are very well constructed they're very soft and they really work they get cold as you like they're great and I would recommend them for anybody.

I like that this came with a storage bag for when not in use. I love that it also has a freezer bag to cool everything at once. I would like to see future versions of the masks for people with wider heads as I was barely able to close the top Velcro strap around my head. Future versions for people who have more space between their eyes would help too. This feels like it was designed for people with more narrow heads & face features but it does contact most of the front of my face. It would be nice to be able to keep in the freezer longer than the recommended 3 hours max but I understand it will damage the packs if kept in the freezer longer.

I have had a little adjustment period for this type of dry eye mask. Got the hang of it now and am very pleased with it. It is very comfortable to wear.

Please do not buy this. I thought this would be a good product but it does not freeze at all. It doesn’t work at all. You can keep it in the fridge for months and it will not freeze because of the material it is I’m so sorry it looks great but when it comes to the product and the results of how cold it is, it’s whack I give it a two out of 10 please buy a cheaper one because this one is not worth it.

Doctor recommended heat mask for dry eyes-very comfortable, Have yet to use the gel pack. Would recommend. It is what it claims.

I like this product because it helps my dry eyes and puffiness.

The order arrived quickly and is well made. The cold therapy mask froze, however thawed very quickly and did not provide the 20 mins of cold I required 3 times per day post surgery. It was also very hard to put inside the mask cover. I decided to try "freezing" the flax seed bag and it worked so much better, it retained the cold much longer, molded better to the surgery area of my eyes and was much easier to put inside the mask cover. I liked both the velvety side and satin side of the mask cover as they didn't snag the stitches. When a bit of blood got on the mask cover, it handwashed and dried quickly. This product would have been better with 2 flax bags (1 for heat, 1 for cold) but with the adjustments mentioned, it worked for me.
