You'll most likely have to stop before 60 minutes anyway to level the shredded material in the bin or empty it. I think I filled it twice with 40 minutes of continuous shredding but also had to level it several times once it gets over half full. It will shut off if the pile of shredded material gets too high on one side, which is how it fills the bin. **Q: What is warranty?** A: MISLEADING. It isn't 5 years on the cutting "parts", it is only for the blade itself. The unit only has a 1 year warranty. Mine just DIED slightly outside this period, they refuse to do anything but tell me to go buy another one.
