Effective heel wedges, still have all my fingers.
Wanted some heel wedges for the gym, was attracted to the larger size, cost and adjustability of these vs some other options (cork/foam/wood), so far have worked well. Footplate is very grippy, adjustment range and size is good, and feel very stable/sturdy though I’ve only used for body weight/light exercise so far. One other reviewer made these out to be super dangerous re: pinching fingers etc and I was a little concerned getting them as I have young kids, but I think that concern is a little silly. Yes you could smash your finger slamming them closed if you’re not careful but they don’t strike me as the bloodthirsty bear traps the other reviewer made them out to be.

Easy to use, sturdy
These slant boards are easy to use, easy to store, are sturdy, come with little anti-slip mats, and have grippy on them. Perfect for agility training at home when you can't get to the gym or in-between practices, as well as other types of movements (theres lots of videos online). Adjustable for various users, positions, movements and abilities. They are very stable and have a pretty decent weight limit.

Sturdy and heavy.
These slant boards take my squats to the next level. I got to a point where I was not feeling challenged during my squat exercises, and these boards made all the difference. They are also ideal for stretching your legs.

Sturdy slant board. Fairly extreme angles.
Made well, and very convenient to set up and put away. More heavy duty and wider than I thought they would be. I am new (and admittedly very infrequent) to doing calf/leg stretches, so I can definitely feel the stretch upon my first attempts. In comparison (and I do have another set of hard foam style wedges) I find the very first angle is fairly drastic for a first position. I wish there was a position between flat and first! I tried second position, and that was pushing it for me, and in both positions I definitely have to be hanging on to something stable and grounded, especially when I tried to do any kind of squat. (I place it behind my center weight elliptical, and hold onto the bars to stretch/squat becasue this machine weighs a lot and is not going anywhere.) THe first slant was also so that there is no way I could do this with just socks on... they grabbed the surface and just slid off of my feet. Shoes are a must, and perhaps bare feet if your skin can hold onto the rough surface of the angled platform. Just for giggles, I placed these on the highest settings and there was no way at all I could do this!!! I really don't know how anyone could angle their ankle in this extreme manner... but, we are all different and I personally am not all that limber. Maybe you can do this! My only other complaint is that the little square rubber stick on bumpers on the bottom of the metal frame came off during shipping, and got stuck to the bubblewrap... I too them off, stuck them back on the bottom, and only time will tell if they do hold. I could just glue them back on if they don't.

Great addition to gym equipment
I'm so glad I got this calf stretcher. It really is a game changer for me. This will help you to reach the depth you need for deadlifts 1and squats which are my 2 favorite exercises. Please be sure to practice before going to the highest limit to achieve your best form and prevent injury. Also, it can slide easily from one setting to the next so be sure to watch your fingers and don't leave down around little ones. FYI, I'm not preaching but sharing things that I noticed for myself and just wanting to help others. It's always great to have the tools necessary in your fitness journey. This little addiction motivates me to lift when I feel like slacking. I highly recommend!

Excellent gym or home equipment!
Easy adjustable height, has 5 heights, the highest angle is 45 degrees and the lowest is about 25-30 degrees. Not squeaky. Built quality is great metal all around. Anti-slip mats are rough but not too sharp. One board weighs about 4 lbs. I use it every day to stretch my calves in the morning. Only downside, is be careful when adjusting the angle because you can pinch your finger by the sliding bar when you are not paying attention.
