Wesbar 707255 Double Ended Wire Harness Extension 5-Way, 2-Feet

I bought this thinking I would cut off one end to replace the 5 pin connection plug on my trailer and use the other end as a dust cover. Would have worked except my trailer connector has 6 wires coming out of the plug. My fault for not looking closely. I could have made it work with an additional splice but I opted for ordering the correct Wishbone Harness Connector instead. In case you, like I, didn't know what a wishbone connector is, the difference is in how the trailer is wired. My trailer has a dedicated wire to each tail light for the running lights. Some use a single wire to one of the tail lights and then a jumper wire from the one tail light to the other. In that case, you can use the Wesbar Wunside plug.

Worked perfect for the intended use

This is gonna be so great I finally found a five wire plug that is built with very quality material. Worked perfectly to add back up lights on my boat trailer!

Nice but needs a cover on the wires. I purchased this before I located extensions with covers.
