Works extremely well

It's stainless steel and very sturdy. Holds a good amount of water for my needs. It was quite easy to put together. The instructions for the filters were confusing but it all worked out. I'm very pleased with the purchase and the water tastes wonderful.

The unit works as advertised and is simple to put together. However.... In my case we have very hard water and very high TDS where I live so I opted for the TDS filters to add to it. They did their job but that caused the pH to drop to about 3.4. I'm still learning this water stuff but that's no good for my plants or for me from what I read. Without the tds filters TDS is unaffected but in my house that means 1000ppm from my tap! This also isn't good. My only point is this thing may depend on your actual needs..I got a countertop RO machine for my drinking water for not much more and both the TDS and pH are great for drinking. However I'm a bit of a prepper so I wanted this for such anoccasion or camping. Plus I wanted it for my plants to reduce the wear and tear on my counter top RO filter. The unit works great and I have zero complaints otherwise..this is more about understanding what you expect or didn't expect from the water and you won't know that if you don't test it. I'm delightfully surprised how easy it is to put together I have yet to use it fully but it's so practical because you can put it up take it apart and take it with you.

Does the job, good to have when SHTF

This 1.5 gallon gravity filter is taylor made for a Senior apartment in need of polishing tap water. Assembly was a breeze, carbon filter candles were easy to prime. Flushed three fills through the media working great day one. Replaces a Zero pitcher that cost $70 for 3 months of operation. OEM medi says it is good to 6000 gallons I will probably replace on a conservative schedule every 12-16 months for way less than $70/year in operation. No heavy jugs to lift faucet reaches directly to fill in place.
