Updated review on Jun 21, 2023After my initial review, the company reached out and let me know that they're in active development of the Mac version of the Maono Link software and offered me a full refund. I love a company that cares about customer satisfaction! I went ahead an ordered another mic product they offer, the MD30 and it DOES work on Mac with the Maono Link software. It also has a live monitor headphone line which is a really valuable feature. I may switch back to the AU-A04E mic to test the audio quality but it sounds very similar to me. I'm really happy with the MD30 and recommend it to everyone now.====The Amazon listing and the box both make it sound like Maono Link is available for Mac but when you go to the website it make clear that the software is not available for Mac with this mic. That's pretty misleading. The sound quality is pretty good, but not being able to adjust reverb, etc. is pretty disappointing.

This microphone has everything necessary to start streaming or record any audio! the quality is really crisp and has attachable pop filter and foam inserts. The arm is easily adjustable and is great at positioning the mic at any angle you need. Connection is really simple and has either usb type c and type A capability. Overall, this is an amazing mic and is good for general audio capture and streaming! No problems encountered thus far.

I ordered this mic for streaming purposes. I love it! It's got great quality, wonderful sound detection, noise cancellation software, a filter you can place over the mic, a protector against moisture, and an incredibly adjustable and flexible arm to customize it to whatever your needs. I have it set up on a desk and it was very simple to install, with installation instructions that clearly lay out the steps. It's very easy to adjust it to your needs whether close or far from you, so as to ensure it's not obscuring the screen and so on.It's a great product that really does enhance the audio experience of people who are hearing you through the mic. I got this microphone for basic recording and gaming purposes, the sound quality of this microphone is surprisingly good for its price. While it may not match higher-tier products, it's important to note that it's not designed to compete with them. One complaint I have is that in the pictures for the listing it shows software that would allow you to change things but I can not find it online and it is not talked about in the manual. The build quality feels sturdy and I have not had any problems with it staying secure. Overall I would recommend it to someone who wants an entry-level microphone for podcast streaming or gaming, without the need for software.
