I only purchased this tool because of the reviews, that being said, I received the tool and began to insert it into the sunroof drain with very little luck at getting far into the drain. I had read in some of the reviews about using dish soap. I filled a 1/2 quart of water into a measuring cup heated it for two minutes in the microwave and poured a little degreaser into it with a little dish soap stirred it around then poured a little of (don't pour it all at once, the drain is clogged and you could get the interior wet) it into the area of the drain and proceeded to insert the tool inch by inch into the drain tube until it wouldn't go further I then removed the tool rinsed the tip in the leftover degreaser water solution and kept at it inch by inch. I repeated the heating of the water one more time and poured it into the drain tube and inserted the tool and worked it in this time all the way and now I see the water pouring out the bottom of the car VOILA!!! Overall, it took just under an hour to completely clear both drain tubes of a 20-year-old car. I am very happy with this tool and with some patience and that hot degreaser dish soap solution I think you will be too.

The brush head and bristles are way too soft for any serious clogs. Length is decent enough to possibly clear most any roof drains and evaporator drains also. Dont like how flimsy the brush head is either. I'd definitely remove that and just use the stiff end of the wire to force through the tougher clogs.
