It gets much better once the dirt is inside and helps keep tension across the entire planter. It's a very good size planter so you're going to need some dirt to you fill it. It does have a beautiful look with a good finish. One aspect of this build that I do not like is that they use Wing nuts for the interior securing of bolts. They are both sharp and they stick out a bit. You can easily cut your hand on that. It would be nice if they had a better way of securing the sections of the planter. I do like that. They also provided gloves for construction. That is a nice bonus. Setup Setup was very easy. I highly suggest making sure that each panel is installed in such a way that the tension from filling helps hold it together versus pushing it outward. It doesn't say that in the instruction manual, but I think that's the most logical way to put it together. Overall It seems like a very good product, and I'm interested to see how long it can last for.
