I came from a cheap Harbor Freight helmet with complete tunnel vision into this panoramic beauty and am really thrilled with the helmet and its features. The large, external adjustment knobs make changes on the fly possible even with gloved hands, the wide range of adjustments is super-nice, allowing me to get a solid view of my weld pool, which had been a problem with the old helmet. The built-in LED's seemed like a gimmick to me at first, but are actually quite useful, particularly in auto mode wherein they turn on any time there's no arc. It's slightly heavier than the helmet I'm used to, but is more comfortable, so that's offsetting. Overall, very pleased with it and would certainly buy it again.

This has been a great helmet after using it for over 1.5 years. I use it in a home garage but it gets used frequently. The headgear has been solid and remains tight. Flashing has been almost non-existent. The view size is great. The true color view as advertised doesn't make a big difference or is even noticeable over my old helmet that didn't have it. Overall this has been a great helmet that has held up well at a great price.

The build quality is good. It has many adjustments to get the fit just right, and if you wear reading glasses, it has lugs to accept cheater lenses which are available from yeswelder as well as many other providers.

I've used a lot of helmets over the years. This is by far my favorite. Mig welded some tricky small tubing over the weekend and used this helmet for 3-4 hours. Worked great. The ability to see color instead of shades of green is something you don't appreciate until you use it. The side viewing ports are something i like as it gives you peripheral vision, which I think is a good safety feature. Knob at your left temple makes adjustment of the shade easy over a wide range, even though I didn't really need to use it much once set. This helmet worked so well that I could forget I was wearing it. Very pleased, especially for the price.Both the pre-installed battery and the spare were too low on charge when I received them to activate the lens, but after placing under a bright light overnight, it worked fine. Ordered a few spares anyway. They are cheap. Nice that you get spare outer and inner shields. Nice that you can order a magnifier lens that slides in. Works fine if you wear glasses as well. Also an attractive helmet.Took a little trial and error to get it adjusted properly for my big head, but once I got it, it was comfortable to wear.So I really like the helmet and consider it a good value. No hesitation recommending it to others.
