I find that the book is more for the classroom, teacher-led settings, unless one is a motivated self-starter. All instructions and explanations are in Spanish. The pages have a glossy finish to them and are colourful.This book contains two levels A1 and A2 (both books can be bought separately at around £21 each, so this appears to be a good bargain) and an audio CD. It’s tricky and challenging as it is all in Spanish. I bought it for my class and I think I would struggle without a teacher. Not the best if you are going it alone. cd works in laptop driver.

It is a great book

I've only just received this. It has exercises for practice and for consolidation but it is not for a beginner to try to work on on their own despite it being level A1-A2. It is all in Spanish with no English explanations and no Spanish-English vocabulary anywhere, nor a decent index to enable you to find things easily.

This is a very nice book. I have used this type of books before in learning English and they worked very well for me. I am an absolute beginner in Spanish. The book is definitely written for a classroom environment- however I'm having private classes and I am able to do the tasks just with my tutor. It could probably be a self-study book (used along with internet resources) but it would be easier if you know a native speaker so you can ask them questions. Overall I am very happy with this book and the value is good for getting both A1 and A2 levels. I use it with the accompanying workbook and a couple of vocabulary/grammar books. It makes learning Spanish a fun and exciting process!

Testo molto intuitivo e ben strutturato, ho iniziato il corso di lingua Spagnola, e con questo libro sono gia ad un buon libello, minha permesso di imparare velocemente grazie anche al DVD dei dialoghi ed esercizi interattivi in allegato.

J'ai acheté ce livre qui est utilisé dans un cours du soir pour adulte. Je le trouve très bien fait. Il peut être utilisé aussi en autodidacte. Tout est en espagnol, donc il peut convenir à n'importe quelle personne quelle que soit sa nationalité qui veut apprendre l'espagnol. Il faut acheter en même temps le livre d'exercices.
