I’m gonna tell you like this. I have three sets of cartridges first set is the filthy one that I use for opening the pool and then I have a second set that somewhat new I used last year and I’ve been keeping it clean and then I have a new set that I just ordered so that I can rotate them this product is absolutely phenomenal when you rotate them the filthy one was cleaned , but it’s not gonna leave it like brand new I didn’t expect it to however the semi new one if you soak them overnight they came out absolutely white like brand new and if you rotate them each and every time it is very possible to keep them pristine . I soaked the second set that was semi new and it came out bright white like new with this product, if you buy a new set of cartridges and you use it for a month and they become filthy and you submerge it in this solution overnight in a large storage container tub like I did and brushed them with the water without a doubt, you can keep them pristine white so that is my review. I love the product. It works really well if you’re expecting this product to clean your old five year-old cartridges to come out pristine that’s not gonna happen. It will clean it, but it’ll be still tarnish and discolored, but the pressure will be lower when you put them back cause it’s clean, but it will not look white, however on your newer cartridges that you soak after Heavy use, it is possible for it to be white as snow again.!

Not gonna lie, it’s been a while since I’ve cleaned the filters and I typically only change them about once a year, so after soaking both of my filters (I have a master spa 7x7 tub) overnight and rinsing them off, it was a little sudsy, but once I ran a few cycles with my regular chemicals, it was perfect. I would purchase again!

Does a good job if you can let the filter soak for twenty four hours. Just have second filter to put back in pool filter while one is in the cleaner. So you will always have a clean one.

Makes cleaning the filter a lot easier.

This is a good and effective spa filter cleaner. I place my two large filters in a 2 gallon bucket and add 2 to 4 oz of product to hot water and let them sit for a day to soak. I do pre-rinse the filters and then rinse them again after the cleaning process. So far, they look great and last until my next cleaning, which is about two to three months,depending on usage of the spa.
