I read at one point that something like a third of adults will admit to sleeping with a stuffed animal. I have always been one of them. I am also one who has used a weighted blanket on and off. This dog seemed like the perfect combination so I decided to order him.I wasn’t expecting much. But he came yesterday and is so soft and weighted well. I ended up sleeping with him on my legs and it was perfect. The only problem is now I think he might need a friend!

I'm docking this a star solely because the gold parts are glitter glued to some other fabric, not a sparkly gold fabric. I have no idea how long that's going to last and how long it will take to start shedding glitter everywhere, and I don't intend to play around--I sealed it off with a coat of clear acrylic topcoat mixed with some fabric paint medium, and I've been perfectly satisfied with it at that point. Paranoid? Maybe, but I don't want to be constantly finding loose glitter in my sheets.I almost sent it back after realizing that it had the potential to shed glitter all over my bed, but I couldn't do that. I liked the plush too much! It's very soft and the weight is very well balanced. It's cooler and not quite as restrictive as using a full sized weighted blanket, and it's got the benefit of being more portable than a weighted blanket for travel. Questionable glitter fabric choices aside, the quality's solid and the plush seems well-made. I've had it for about a month now and it's held up well.

I work with kids, so this dog has been thrown and dropped a number of times, but it's held up really well. It's soft and kids like that it's heavy, whether to show off their strength by picking it up or to hold it and use it for calming. It's a nice size to lay on your lap or recline and lay it on your upper body. Almost every single one of my kids loves this dog, too.

I am really glad I purchased this. I sometimes need extra weight on me to fall asleep and this portable,soft cute stuffed animal does the trick. My only suggestion is to have multiple weight options.

I absolutely love this. I bought it for my Nana who has dementia. Her birthday is Saturday, so I'm hoping she will like it. In the meantime this is ALOT heavier than I initially thought. While it is perfect in my scenario, if I were to have bought this for a younger child, or myself I would have been a bit more upset.

My daughter LOVES this dog. It is cute and so soft. I feel like it is a good value for the money. The only problem has been that the arms and legs are so heavy that they pull away from the body and create a hole along the seem. I have already had to sew about a one inch hole in the arm seam and a two inch hole in along the leg seam and my daughter has only had it for about a week. Hopefully, no more holes to sew!
