The chicken flavor was apparently tasty and hid pills well and was never refused by my Wolfhound. The wee chews were fresh and moist and retained pills until my Hound chewed and swallowed. Sadly... the subsequently purchased duck flavor pill concealers were dry and crumbled and probably way too old from sitting on a shelf at Amazon for too long.

There’s a number of things I absolutely love about these! First, and most important to me, it’s actually safe for chicken allergies! A number of products will still use chicken based ingredients in non-chicken based items - like a certain dry dog food uses chicken in its lamb and rice flavor, or another pill pocket brand I used to use for my other dogs had chicken as a main ingredient in its peanut butter, cheese, and hickory smoked flavors. It’s frustrating. But this is safe, and for a great price too!Second, I love that the pill pockets are individually wrapped. It preserves freshness, and makes traveling convenient - especially if you bought a larger bag. Just pack what you need. Third, I appreciate the size of these! My dog’s daily allergy pill is tiny, so I only needed half of a pocket (and there’s a chance it could even fit into 1/4th of a pocket if I really wanted to try) - so for a 30 count bag I could administer up to 60 doses. I just put the other half in a small ziplock bag. The large size is also useful if you have a bigger medication, or need to give several smaller meds at once.Finally, my dog *loves* the taste of the grilled duck flavor. She’s not a picky eater at all so I really don’t have issues giving her meds, but she treated this like a very high value treat.One thing to note, a number of the pill pockets were smooshed so they appeared more like one long flat piece - BUT that’s just the nature of soft products like this! I have yet to find a single brand where every single pill pocket in the bag was perfectly formed. It’s still completely useable. All you have to do is separate off the size you need and either smoosh the pill in the middle (like I did in my second picture), or mold two pieces of the pill pocket around the med(s).

This is a great natural product! Different flavors are available, and great alternative if you have a dog with allergies. Works great especially for out older dog who is tired of having pills shoved down his throat

I needed to switch from Greenie’s Pill Pockets to these after discovering my dog had a severe allergy to chicken. These work great except they are somewhat dry, and crumble easily. That makes it a bit difficult to wrap the pills and keep them in. Would have given them 5 stars if not for that issue.

My pup went from medication nightmare to tail-wagging treat time in seconds.The PB & banana combo is apparently irresistible to my furry patient. I just press the pill into the soft treat, give it a little squeeze to seal the deal, and watch my dog gobble it up like it's Christmas morning. No more hiding pills in cheese or playing chase-the-dog-around-the-house.The texture is perfect - soft enough to mold around any size pill but firm enough that it doesn't crumble. Even my picky eater who normally sniffs out medication from a mile away falls for this every time.90 servings means I'm set for months of stress-free medication time. What used to be a daily battle has become my dog's favorite part of the routine. Sometimes I think he's actually disappointed when he doesn't get his "special treat."Pure genius in treat form - both dog and human approved!

My dog is a picky Basset Hound so I have to hide his daily meds for him to take these. These are THE ONLY pill pockets he will gladly eat. They come individually wrapped so we can take them on the go and are well portioned. He loves the taste and they don’t upset his stomach at all. PB & Banana as well as the Beef flavor are his top favorites. Will continue to buy again and again!

The media could not be loaded. When I was covering one of my dogs pills, I noticed a sharp, hard object in the pill pocket and it look like a piece of plastic. I figured it was just a weird coincidence, so I threw that piece out and continue to use the bag.The other night I came across another sharp hard object in the soft pill pocket. Upon further investigation, it looks like it was a piece of wood! That is dangerous & disgusting. Had I not broken it into small pieces for her smaller pills, she could have choked, or worse! I am not sure if this was a faulty batch or this is how they make products now, but to have sharp objects in those soft pill pockets that dogs need to swallow is dangerous and not acceptable!**UPDATE!!**the company contacted me and explained that those hard pieces are actually a cartilage strand from a feathers calamus (I got the duck flavor, so that is the part that attaches the feather to the bird).They mentioned it is very difficult to eliminate 100%, but they will explore other options including slightly smaller mesh to see if this will mitigate further occurrences of this. They were also nice enough to refund me for my order and send me a free bag of pill pockets, which I chose to get in a completely different flavor. Overall, this was an unfortunate incident, but the small family owned company handled it really well and I was very impressed and will definitely keep Buying different flavors of these and continue to support them.

My dogs love the taste and there is no chicken (beef recipe) if your pups have any poultry allergies. Also the mold very easily to accommodate a wide variety of pill shapes and sizes. Also they are individually wrapped so they stay ultra fresh!
