ghdMax Professional Hair Straightener

Brillent hair straighteners, I’ve got very thick, wavy hair, hair straightener I’ve used before never work very well, I would alway have to straighten my hair when damp with straighteners at maximum heat but my hair would never look properly straight. These straighten my hair with ease and quickly, I can straighten my hair when it’s dry and it looks thinner and straight, it looks like I’ve just come out of the hairdressers. Wish I’d brought them years ago.

Christmas/birthday present for my daughter who has super thick hair. She is totally in love with them. They let her straighten her hair in no time and her hair looks amazing. She keeps thanking me for her awesome present. 🙂

Replacing my old GHD wide straightener, had them for years, the new ones are much lighter, loving the case to keep them in.

Quickly heat up when switched on and cool back down when turned off. Great for thick wavy hair like mine

Worse Ghd straighteners I’ve ever bought ! Where the case connects at the top it traps and snags my hair strands out from the apparent improved (curved case to stop snagging ! ) see description! What a joke never had a problem with previous cases on other Ghd models which wasn’t curved but yet this one traps hair ! and now it has stopped working by flashing a red light , smelt like burning plastic for a second and isn’t getting warm. Did what the book advised by unplugging and re plugging after a few mins (hhhmm fault problem in manual ) doesn’t look good there does is ! Trying to sort this out with amazon so far is a nightmare ! Can’t seem to directly speak to a human .Tried the Ghd website and that’s also proving difficult as link it provides isn’t there to start a returns forms . I spent £149.99 on these end of November and I’d like some help please !!!Update .. finally got through to ghd direct message through Facebook messenger after a couple of previous failed messages through email to Ghd with no response to be told because I bought these from Amazon I can NOT have a refund !!!! Have ask me to send them to them to be assessed.. I’m presuming a repair or new pair but I am not happy as these snagged my hair in the first place then broke with a common fault ! Really not impressed. Amazon (why can I not seem to get help with this ! ) there was nowhere that stated I wouldn’t be able to get a refund if faulty (especially after only 7 month ) .. do not by this product from Amazon in fact do not by this product full stop AVOID . I have now decided to take this further and not send them back . I am going to trading standards !! I know my Rights
