Might be one of the top two or three ensure spinning reels I’ve ever used
I bought a static 23, 1000, I also have a 500 of a different Shimano model. Insure, saltwater for trout, reds, and flounder. This little Raul is tough as nails. I have yet to be spooled, and I have yet to have a red, trout, or flounder here on the Texas coast, that Raul, along with a good quality, medium light, action rod, not pull in. I will be buying again. Shimano outdid themselves on remodeling this new strata 23, reminds me of my Stella

Great reel, bail flip a little rough
I have been using this for trout fishing, it is smooth and well-made. Every inch of this reel is a looker, and there is zero slop, none on the handle, none when you try to back reel, and none on the drag. The bail also feels very solid and gives a nice click, I only had a sticky bail on 1/4 reels I ordered. If you are wondering if it's worth the splurge, do it!

AVOID Buying
First order my Stradic had a wobble on the spool so I requested a replacement. The second they send me a box with a reel that isn’t even a stradic inside. Avoid at all costs and get your Stradic elsewhere.
