Both mounting surfaces are extremely out of square. Product is completely unusable for a shelf or the sign post i was gonna use it for.On a side note, the paint finish is terrible as well. Looks like brown paint with hits of black paint in places. Dont waste your moneyGot the replacement shipped out asap. And as you can see from the last photos. The second bracket has flat faces. But it is not a true 90 degrees so if you use it for shelf it will definately be wonky. Poor craftsmanship and i am thoroughly displeased as i build this entire law office sign out of expensive cedar for this bracket so thanks to the manufacturer for poor quality control

Looks nice but holes are small and narrow. Made it work for me with slight modifications.

I used this as support to repair a wooden mailbox post. I paired it with a brown metal box and it has really given a custom look to the boring standard mailbox everyone has. It s sturdy and has a great bronze finish.

From the uneven parts to the terrible paint, I think the pictures speak for themselves. Very disappointed. Absolutely not recommended, it cannot even be flush against a wall or ceiling how curved it all is.
