The Official Horizon Cookbook: Tastes of the Seven Tribes (Gaming)

First off, this cook book is absolutly stunning. the,pages are glossy but not to thin, not thick either but will hold its own. The story that goes along with it and ancedotes feels like your hearing it direct from the characters. It expands the universe.It also gives the feeling like you really are traveling by food each tribe is very diffrent.I tried the beanweed bites so far so flavorful. I look forward to trying them all.Now story, art, and delishes food aside. What makes this really stand out in my collection is the first and last pages.The first has a list of ingreidents, what they are and do. There are quite a few that isnt common in a lot of house holds. That is helpful information. I learned a lot about new sauces and ingredients I have never tried or heard of.The last pages have conversion charts and advice on how to change some receipes for dietary restrictions and allergies.Give it a try, must have for Horizon fans or gamer foodies. will be getting more of her cookbooks after i try each of these.

I got this as a gift for my partner, who really loves the series (and is a lore junkie). Really great how the book is broken up into sections that dig into the different cultures in the games, it makes it a fun read alongside being a great cookbook. The food photography is amazing too.

My favorite cookbook author has done it again, amazing recipes and amazing visuals. I love that they include art visuals from the game and props from each recipe to make it look like you’re feasting straight from the game. Every recipe has pictures which is big thing for me so I can visualise the final dish! Recipes range from easy to harder recipes so I don’t feel like I’m cooking like a total newbie. I’m looking forward to cooking more recipes from this book!

I incorrectly assumed the recipes in this would be kind of lame since the concept is pretty gimmicky… but I love this game and I love cooking so I figured why not! I am having SO much fun and eating so well working my way through this book. Definitely a great pick for anybody who is into Horizon or anyone who just wants to eat some creative delicious meals! I have to say I extra appreciate that the levels of things like spice and garlic are SPOT ON (I end up doubling those flavor-bombs on most recipes but not these). I’ve since bought another one of Rosenthal’s cookbooks as a gift and am excited to see how my family enjoys it.

I don't know if the food tastes good (it looks that way) since I only bought it to support the Horizon franchise. The design is definitely reminiscent of the game.

I got this cookbook as a birthday gift for a roommate, and she adores it! We have tried many of the different recipes, and best of all this cookbook works really well for a lot of the household’s dietary restrictions. If you are a fan of cooking and Horizon, this is perfect.

Love the game and I'm glad to try the food inside

I have bought this horizon cookbook for my husband and he absolutely loved it. Some of the recipes are a bit odd and not really to my liking. This book has been a fun addition to our cookbook library the various recipes have been fun for us to cook together. I do recommend this for anyone that is a horizon fan wanting to try fun new foods or takes on foods.
