Brittle and low quality
We purchased this for my son’s costume. We received our package yesterday. The sword jams and wouldn’t retract. Then the tip broke off from trying to shorten the blade. I understand that costume props are likely to break after some use, but he didn’t even extend it but 3 or 4 times before it broke. We are super unhappy with this product and now we may not have enough time to order him something for his costume before Halloween.

They get stuck often
I ordered just the black one but to my surprise my package had one of each. It’s honestly what I expected quality wise, but I am bummed out that the tip is already jammed and I don’t want to force it back in. It jams itself frequently and unlike the walmart lightsaber I got when I was younger, the way it extends and retracts is not the same- just slabs of plastic that fit tightly together. I paid $14 for this so I’m not too disappointed, overall just a “meh” type of reaction from me. They do feel sturdy though, swinging them is really fun as they bear weight that is not equivalent to that of a feather.

Not worth the gimick
Saw reviews saying bad quality and would break, but for 5 dollars why not try. Took about a week to get to me and immediately the pink one got stuck and wouldn't function. Then immediately broke a chunk off rendering it non functional. I have no hope that the other one will be any better. Not Wirth it for 5 dollars or 5 cents.

When we received this one was very sticky and the pink didn’t extend and had a tear in the plastic

Fell apart when I picked it up the first time.
First of all, completely different than what was pictured. And sizes are completely different than the dimensions given in the pictures. Way smaller.And the material is so brittle that when I picked it up the first time it fell apart and snapped without me even trying to open it
