Black one worked great but make sure to get a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter so you can torque the inner tie rod.

Great Tools
This tool worked perfectly on my 2004 4Runner which had stuck inner & outer tie rods on both sides. It was easy to use, fit perfectly, and performed flawlessly removing stuck tie rods from the Rack & Pinion. Highly recommend getting one if your 4Runner has the typical rusty parts underneath. Note: Tire Shop in town had already tried for over an hour to remove them without success even after heating them with a torch.

The price was right, and I was able to get the job done. Dont get too heavy handed with them and I think you'll get multiple uses out of them, as they are not super heavy duty.
