Bully Dog 53253 Stage 2 Rapid Flow Air Intake for GM Pick Up and SUV 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L

First time i've seen a bully dog intake. ( i prefer AEM and then KN if i can't find one.) Its Alright. cheapest intake i could find at the time with a name brand on it. plastic tubing with box and filter all the parts needed to go with it. directions, warranty, sticker ,warnings, all that stuff. Felt and looked cheap tho. most definitely wasn't worth alot.. but again name brand so you pay for the label.. but at last i can hear my engine now when i get on the gas. no idea if it improved MPG OR HP (probly not as i been racing around everywhere. but defiantly added to helping the truck run better at idle and in general. which is the main reason i buy intakes. more air in better throttle response. Noting like an AEM or K&N no suprising kick or impressive sounds. just a normal stage 2 upgrade from a stock intake. It looks nice takes up way less room and was easy enough to install. off with the old and on with new probably an hr i detailed everything around the old one first so probably 20 mins if your skill set matches.

works great, I got 2 extra MPG in City and extra 4.5 on highway. I can feel a little extra power on the lower end from a dead stop too. Was a little disappointed with the look of the tube. Looked as if the mold or the sealing 2 pieces together could have been cleaner. Should have been smoothed off to look like 1 solid piece.

If there was an all of the above box I would check it. I really like this product, it was so simple to install, directions and diagrams/pictures were very clear and accurate. On top of all that it looks pretty good, easy to get to. The air box is well built and keeps debris and water off the filter. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a little more get up and go as well as slightly improved mileage. Thanks Amazon for carrying some great products.

A very well designed system. I like the enclosed filter housing, much quieter then open style units. This is the way it should come from GM. If your handy it's strait forward and fairly easy to install. If your new to these kind of things, maybe get a hand from someone knowledgeable or take it to a mechanics shop to have it installed.

I put this on a 09 Silverado 2500 with 6.0 and a mechanical fan. It did fit my truck with some minor trimming of the fan shroud.

Happy with my choice going with the bully dog cold air intake. I installed this on a 2012 Chevy Tahoe

Average fit not perfect but works
