Delicious, satisfying, and genuinely feels like a treat
The Grenade OREO Protein Bar is hands‑down one of the best protein bars I’ve ever had. It actually tastes like an indulgent OREO chocolate bar rather than a typical protein snack. The texture is soft and layered with a great crunch, and the creamy filling gives it an authentic OREO flavour without being overly sweet. Each bar is packed with protein and low in sugar, making it ideal for post‑workout snacks or a guilt‑free treat during the day. They’re really filling too, which helps curb cravings without feeling heavy. The box of 12 offers good value and stays fresh for ages. If you want something that tastes amazing while helping you hit your protein goals, this bar is a winner. Grenade absolutely nailed this one.

Great price
Great for my son to have a quick protein hit. Better tasting than most protein bars and not dry. Great discounted price too.

Gingerbread flavour is awful
[I normally love grenade bars so that’s why I’m giving it a 5 stars. But the review below is for the ginger bread flavour] I bought these last year, I bought the ginger bread ones. I normally love grenade bars, but these were absolutely awful. The ginger flavour was stale and very peculiar and the raisins inside were dry and a very weird texture, I felt like I was eating dead flies. They also gave me acid reflux, which I never normally have. I bought a whole box, which makes me sad because I have pretty much an entire box left. They have expired now and I have to throw them out.

Great Low Sugar / High Protein Alternative To Standard Snacks
I started buying these as a way to swap out my usual "meal deal" chocolate bar for something healthier. I'd still get that sweet fix with significantly less sugar and a lot more protein. On that front, these deliver perfectly. The taste is very good - you definitely get the "Oreo" vibe, though you can tell it’s a healthy alternative rather than a pure sugar rush. It is less sweet than a standard candy bar and has a significantly chewier texture (which is standard for high-protein bars), but it satisfies the craving without the guilt. I usually buy the smaller bars, so this 60g size was a step up. While it’s a great size for filling you up when snackish, and hitting protein goals, I actually think the smaller one might be more manageable. These are decent value when on sale, though I'd probably hold off buying them at full price.

Yummy
My fave non seasonal grenade bar. The dark chocolate is very well done for a protein bar and the raspberry is there without being too much. It's a nice treat when you want a dark chocolate fix and have protein macros to fill. I appreciate that this is low carb and lower fat than many with a good protein to calorie ratio. It should fit into most diet plans including keto or low fat without adjusting to accommodate too much. Grenade can be expensive so I like to stock up via subscribe and save when on offer then skip the months its not (naughty but it helps with the budget) I find these bars to be a good size to fill a snack hole without leaving room to still feel snack. These do contain sugar alcohols so if you're sensitive to those you may want to avoid or treat them as an occasional indulgence.

Great Variety and Delicious Taste - Perfect for Protein Boosts!
I purchased the Grenade Selection Box - High Protein, Low Sugar, 12 x 60g Variety Pack, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations in both taste and quality. As someone who is always looking for convenient, high-protein snacks that align with my fitness goals, this variety pack has been a game-changer. The box contains 12 bars in a mix of flavors, and they all provide a substantial 20g of protein per bar while keeping the sugar content low. This is exactly what I need for a post-workout snack or a quick, healthy treat during the day. The flavors are absolutely delicious! I’ve tried several protein bars before, but the Grenade bars are by far some of the tastiest I’ve had. The Caramel Chaos and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough are particularly noteworthy for their rich, indulgent flavors without the usual chalky aftertaste that you often find in protein bars. The texture is also spot on—chewy yet firm, with a nice coating that makes it feel like a real treat rather than just a health product. The variety pack gives you a chance to try different flavors, so you don’t get bored with the same taste every time. In terms of nutritional benefits, the bars are excellent for those looking to increase protein intake while keeping carbs and sugars in check. They are perfect for those on a fitness journey, whether you’re trying to build muscle or maintain a balanced diet. They’re also quite filling, so I often use them as a meal replacement when I’m in a rush. The only downside is that the price can be a bit higher than some other protein bars on the market, but considering the quality and taste, I think it’s worth the investment. Overall, I highly recommend the Grenade Selection Box to anyone looking for a tasty, nutritious, and convenient protein boost!

They make you look fugly and artificial
Basically all artificial man made product which isn't absorbed by your body like normal real organic none GMO healthy food is, that's why the carbs are low, you will look 100x more better by eating healthy carbs proteins and fats from healthy organic real food, and give you more energy. All protein bars are full of E numbers, and processed ingredients most have GMO's in them and artificial processed sugars and or sweetners, unless stated otherwise like vegan etc... Its your choice if you want to hit your macros and look ugly like aged bad skin nails etc.. It is made with sweetness to make you addictive which will also cause insulin resistance, further more its expensive. Have to say Grenade its a genius plan to make money though as the whole industry is one big scam. Edit- Update on all things BCAA and Protein Supplements, If they contain artificial/processed sugars they will spike your blood sugar levels which is your insulin they are high in GI Glycemic Index which will cause you to binge eat that aside from it, your better off with eggs and beef and veggies that give you protein as these will cause you to grow tissue muscle mass not protein shakes or protein bars, I did a lot of research in the last 6 or 7 years this will be my final update, its a money making scam industry to sell these as recovery or muscle gains both soy and whey don't compare with having Eggs and Eggs are healthy they reduce cholesterol, they contain all 9 essential amino acids including the yolk so don't bother with egg whites that's empty protein you don't want that you want the whole egg and make sure its pasturraised organic grass fed chickens. Last note the 3 BCAA's which are found in most workout powders do not give you muscle mass, your body needs all the 9 essential amino acids to gain muscle mass and spike your protein synthesis this is why Egg's are far better than any pre-workout or BCAA ever made. Watch out for the Sweetners your better off with Stevia, or alcohol sugars like Erithritol or Xylitol even though they might bloat they are far better than other sugars that have high GI Glycemic index value. The higher the value of GI the more your blood sugar levels spike that will cause insulin to respond in the body. Insulin is a hormone made in your pancreas, a gland located behind your stomach. Insulin also helps balance your blood glucose levels. When there’s too much glucose in your bloodstream, insulin signals your body to store the excess in your liver. The stored glucose isn’t released until your blood glucose levels decrease, such as between meals or when your body is stressed or needs an extra boost of energy. Think about that for a moment when you eat artificial sweetners like Aspartame or the ones mentioned above with a high GI index rating will spike your blood sugars and cause you to want to eat more. If you really must eat these the only thing I can think of to help you all defend against this is to eat healthy with low GI index carbs if possible and use your will power to not binge or anything high in GI index carbs, dig deep in the end its all about will power. A nice Keto diet won't spike the blood sugar from what I've been hearing thats mostly healthy fat's like eggs and avocados etc.. and some high quality Proteins about roughly between 15-40g at the most in one sitting, as the body will just turn any excess proteins you don't use during digestion into glucose, and with carbs being less than 50g the most. Just google or youtube this info you can get a full idea of what I'm talking about. Hope this helps take care.
