Excellent
I change both my riding lawn mower head lights from incandescent to led. It is much brighter and cover more area with light.

WAY different than the incandescent 1141's they replaced.
They arrived today and I wasted no time in installing them. I replaced 1141's for interior travel trailer lighting with them. The differences are pretty noticeable: They're a VERY white light and about 50% brighter than the bulbs they replaced. Honestly, I have no scientific way of measuring the output, but my experience tells me (via comparisons to other lights I have used) that these are probably no where near the stated 1440 lumens - at least the ones I received aren't. More like 800 - 1000. I'll update once I've used these for a while and raise or lower the 4 star rating pursuant to my experience with these.UPDATE (following day): I did some semi reliable but fair measurements and learned the following: Using the same instrument at the same distance (+ or - 1/8"), an uncovered incandescent (about 2800K) 1141 produces 2700 lux or 250.8 lumens. An incandescent (about 2800K) 1141 with a clean translucent cover (rv) produces 2190 lux or 203.45 lumens. This new Luyed (about 5000K or so), with a new translucent cover (same kind) produces 9345 lux or 868 lumens. This is NOT calibrated laboratory testing but it does give a REASONABLE comparisonfor rough reference. Hope this helps everyone in evaluating this product. My 4 star rating remains . . . for now (test of time is next).UPDATE JULY 11, 2018: OK, I'm satisfied with regard to the "test of time." I've had one of these bulbs on continuously since I received them in, I believe, Feb 2017. It's still going strong and has showed no change in output or color. I'm upgrading to 5 stars - they've earned it.

Really bright bulbs for RV backup lights but a bit of a hassle to install.
Used these for backup lights for a Fleetwood RV. They are super bright. Took off one star since they were difficult to install. The transition from the silver base to the part where the LEDs are is a "step" and the bulbs needs to be pushed in past this base to catch the groove so they can be twisted and locked in place. At first, the bulbs could not be pushed in far enough and easily rotated to lock in place and the LED panels twisted. Had to use a pocket knife and carve out about 1 mm from the inside top of the sockets (which were plastic) to allow the bulbs to go in far enough to be rotated and locked in place. This takes about 5 minutes per bulb (after the first one which took about 10 minutes since I was a little hesitant to start carving on the RV sockets. Original incandescent bulbs have a much more gradual transition form brass base to glass bulbs so they can be pushed further in to engage the pins. Took off 2 stars for this hassle but added one back since once installed, bulbs are really bright.

Great upgrade for outside lights on our RV
These are a simple way to improve the outside lighting on an RV. I just replaced the incandescent bulbs with these and at the risk of a bad pun, the difference was night and day. The original lights threw a rather small pool of light while these are bright, white colored and cover a broad area around our RV. They draw very little power and should last pretty much forever in this application as they are less sensitive to vibration that standard filaments. Great prchase.

Yes the Brightest I have found
At 1440 lumens, they are certainly the brightest I have found in practice, not just from the specs. I have this Luyed, beside a comparable GRV which isn't as bright, on my garden tractor headlights. Both have good led's pointing forward. A real step up from regular 1156.
