I have four of these gates in black . I bought the gates that are the tallest as I have three large dogs. I needed to block off areas in my home from the dogs. I thought wow tall gate maybe that will intimidate my band of merry and active dogs! One dog being a Doberman, the other two dogs just slightly smaller. I was RIGHT! They have not tried to jump on the gates or tried to get through them. No, they are not cheap but they are worth it! I love that you can install them in different ways. For instance I didn't want the hardware for this gate to be in the hallway. I worried it would take away from the width of the doorway and would then interfere with moving furniture or carrying laundry through the doorway. So I had the hubby install the gate for me in a different way. (I posted a couple pics for you to see how we mounted the gates.) In doing it this way the gate is totally out of the way. I installed two of the gates myself and had no problems. The directions are very clear and easy to follow. I have received compliments on these gates, and have had friends purchase them as well for keeping their children safe around stairs. These gates have a neat feature that locks the panel in place so they are taunt. I had two of the gates for over 11 months and they look and feel just like the day they were installed. They have been durable, so far so good? They are perfect!

I love this gate! It was very easy to set up and works perfectly for keeping my dogs out of the kitchen. It's discreet and blends in so well that you barely notice it's there. The design also allows for convenient one-handed operation, which is a big plus.The height is perfect and the mess helps you keep an eye on your dogs. It built for easy set up and discrete look.

This area fence is perfect for keeping kids and pets out of our kitchen, looks nice, and easy to open or lock, it’s a great value for your money, plus our dog can’t crawl underneath with the boned fence. The build quality is superior and it was super easy to install!

You have to assemble. Absolutely no instructions. No paperwork if you wanted to return. No paperwork at all.

Good quality but we are returning because it is too tall to attach to our deck. We did not measure lol.

The first gate I received was defective and didn’t retract at all, which was frustrating. Thankfully, the replacement works as expected and has been really helpful in keeping certain areas blocked off. Just keep in mind—it’s not super secure. Both kids and animals could easily climb or crawl under it if they really wanted to. It works for light use, but not ideal if you're looking for something more heavy-duty.

Product as advertised. Be aware of height of mounting bracket to attach. Exchanged for a 33 in high with no problems.

My dog is 80 pounds and escaped under it the second i put it up and it was as low as possible to the ground. The "support bars" are a joke and not close together like the picture shows making escape easy. After my dog kept going under it the pockets that hold the support bars ripped and they are falling out. The plastic brackets broke also.False marketing, obviously never tested on dogs.
