Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs - Smugglers Bay!

Captain Flinn and his lively crew strike again. Fantastic books, super fun and engaging, beautifully illustrated too. We love the series. Dinosaurs and pirates, what’s not to like?

I got these for the little boy down the road on his 4th birthday as he is a big fan of pirates and dinosaurs so these were perfect!! He loves reading them with his mum and she gives them a big thumbs up!

Our 3 year old son has all the other Captain Flinn stories; this was bought for his Christmas. We've read it several times in the last few days and I'd have to say of all the books this is my favourite as it gave me a laugh. My son is crazy for dinosaurs and loves all the stories. I highly recommend them.

We have the full set of these books and our boys (3 and 5) love them. Not only are the stories great but the pictures are wonderful too. Very engaging for young minds! Highly recommended.

I have bought this book after I had bought other books by the same author. Illustrations are ecellent, very colourful & keeps my son engaged. This is one of my sons favourite books!!

More pirate pete. And his Dinosaurs.The children live these stories and I live reading them, very funny!

Not as good as some of the others.... Still a repeated read mind so my child thinks its okay.

Not that great !

I've been reading it to my three years old son and he recently wanted to keep it in the car so that he can read it during our long commute. We first bought Captain Flinn and the pirate dinosaurs, Missing treasure and the Magic Cutlass three stories-in-one book and he has developed a deep interest in dinosaurs since then. Since he loved that series which we bought when we lived in the UK, we didn't think too much to buy Smugglers Bay even though it had to be shipped from the UK (We now live in the US). It is about Captain Flinn (I imagine he is a pre-schooler) and the crew (his school friends) going on a school trip to Smugglers Bay where they meet the Pirate Dinosaurs again. This time ferocious Captain T-rex and the pirate crew (Triceratops, Diplodocus, Stegosaurus, Pterodactyl) make delicious pirate sausages with their big sausage machine. The story is very cute and exciting as it offers the pirate-dinosaur combination in a very nicely creative way. Needless to say, it includes lots of action.. I would recommend it to anyone who has little boys and even girls as my eighteen months old daughter loved the rhyme in the story too. Yo ho ho! Yo ho ho! Pirate Dinosaurs Go! Go! Go!

Our five year old Kindergartener requests all these pirate books by Giles Andreas to be read over and over. He never tires of listening to these stories.

My 3yo son discovered this series at a local library and when he received it you'd think it was tickets to Disney.

This book is in very poor shape. It looks to have had something spilled on it and some of the pages were once stuck together. Some of the pages are missing words due to the damage. I wouldn't have paid a penny for this book. I would rather have purchased it new. Seriously disappointed and misrepresented.
