The Great Gatsby (Masterpiece Library Edition) Hardcover – June 22, 2023

I absolutely love classics, especially when they have beautiful covers. this book was high quality, unused, and an amazing read!!! I absolutely loved it. I'd recommend it to anyone who loves a good book. if you're thinking about wether you should read it or not, you should!!!

Good book to introduce to readers who want to see the story come to life as a book

I don't really care for The Great Gatsby because for the most part, I don't like any of the characters I like Nick the most .. Gatsby is stuck in a dream of days past. I do think that it's the book that you most think of when you think of the 'Roaring 20s' or the 'jazz age'. The rich seemed to ,be obscenely rich, and the poor seemed to be so sadly poor. I read it now and the to try and figure it out, and make sense of it.

Well made superior quality book for your home library. It is a classic, interesting, and not too long if you are not a big reader. Highly recommend.

pretty book. just needed it for school

Okay so, we read The Great Gatsby in class and i’m not gonna lie, I didn’t think I’d like it at first But now that I’ve finished it I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s one of those books that seems simple at first but actually has a lot going on.Jay Gatsby is kind of sad, He spends his whole life chasing this dream of being with Daisy but it’s clear from the start that it’s never going to work out. He throws crazy parties, has lots of money, and yet he’s still super lonely. It’s sad but also frustrating because he just doesn’t get that some things are out of his control.Nick, the narrator is kind of boring but I get why he’s there He sees everything unfold and realizes how fake and selfish everyone is. by the end he’s just over it and i am too. Daisy and Tom The worst They literally ruin people’s lives and don’t care at all.The book is pretty good though, Fitzgerald makes everything feel so dreamy but once you really think about it the whole story is actually kind of depressing, Everyone is either selfish, clueless, or stuck in the past and no one really gets a happy ending and the way it all builds up just for everything to fall apart at the end really makes you sit there like wow that was kind of exhausting to read but also weirdly good.sooo would I read it again? Probably not But I get why people love it, It really shows how people can be so focused on what they want that they miss what’s actually in front of them so If you haven’t read it yet it’s worth reading at least once.
