They were easy to install in my Berkey. I ran water through them 1x cycle, then dumped it. After that, the water tasted excellent, especially since our tap water smelled and tasted heavy of chlorine. I will repurchase when it's time to replace them.

I've tried many filters in my alexapure system from ,alexapure, berkey black, waterdrop and so far these are the best tasting filters. They do filter slower than the others but that just says ito me t's working better than the others.

I was using different filters from another manufacturer (chlorine above / flouride below) .The berkfield filter does both on one unit. Seems very well made. Initial flow very slow but quicker after a few days.Happy so far 👍

I have had my Big Berkey for at least 6 years and had been extremely frustrated when I couldn’t get filters directly from the manufacturer. I wish I had known about these Berkefeld filters from the UK. They are far superior to the Berkey filters that were double the price! My water tastes better than it ever did before and I am noticing I don’t have to do as many rinsing between regular cleaning! No funky sediment and biofilm like before! Superior filters imho!
