Exactly what I needed for Costzon Motor upgrade
Got my kid a costzon jeep. A year+ later they're older, and the motors were getting weak. I got new 12v550 motors (40000rpm 'high torque') motors, but on anything but a flat surface, the stock board would cut off and get really hot. I knew that it was demanding more power than the board could provide. My partner and I wanted to keep the RC feature, so this board was everything we needed. It plugged right up to the harness for controls (horn, music etc) for the Jeep, provides enough power for the motors, and has the soft start feature. I re-wired the jeep to have two batteries in parallel, and used 10awg wire from batteries to control board and control board to motors. Next, I'm going to try to utilize the high/low feature and add a toggle switch to the dash, as it seems to be pretty fast, and sometimes my kid wants to drive a little slower. I would recommend this board.
