Q: What is different about the fiber in the benefiber healthy shape that makes you feel fuller vs the regular benefiber's fiber?

Takes 3 1/4 tbsp to get 5g fiber on the healthy shape and only 2 tbsp for 3g on regular. Regular is better deal. This is just marketing gimmick.

Q: what is difference between white and green containers?

Serving size. The original Benefiber (Green) serving size is 2 teaspoons, which contain 15 calories and 3 grams of fiber. Healthy Shape (White) contains 30 calories and 5 grams of fiber in 1 rounded tablespoon of the product. There is a third version that does not contain wheat dextrin and is low FODMAP named Healthy Balance.

Q: Whats added that causes the appetite suppressant?

If you look at the ingredients, nothing is added. It just gives you a "full" feeling so that you don't want to munch on snacks, etc. It is not a drug that suppresses your appetite. I love it. I have switched to the Equate brand which is the same product for about one half the price.

Q: How many grams of fiber from each dosage?

The label say: Dietary Fiber 5 grams, Soluble Fiber 5 grams. Thus, I conclude they mean a total of 10 grams of fiber. The label further says that the Academy of Nutrition and Diabetics recommends a healthy diet including 20-30 grams of fiber a day.
