I'm quite simply a big fan of Georgie Birkett and Jane Clarke. Charming, educational and the pictures are bright and fun to look at.

Love this book for little ones
Love this book for little ones. Just like meal times in my house with our 9 month old. The book shows a little girl feeding her monkey. It shows how it's ok to have fun when eating. Also shows how older siblings can help to clean up. A lovely rhyming text and bright illustrations. It's also nice to have a slightly longer board book for very little ones as I find most of them only have a couple of words per page. We have 4 of these "How to.." board books by this author and all are proper stories. Thanks :-)

Rumbly tumbly
If you want a jokey present for very new parents, you could do worse than buy this series of books. They take the reader through the big events and experiences of a toddler's life in a way that is both entertaining and reassuring, and the simple text provides an opportunity for the child to join in the story. It shows food as fun (a bit of mess isn't a huge disaster, after all) and even the daunting task of using of a spoon is handled with wit and humour. The illustrations, too, are charming: the drawing of that unfortunate moggy covered in banana will make parents and children chuckle!

Five Stars
A delightful read with fun rhyming text and bold illustrations. A firm favourite with my one year old nephew.
