Quick delivery. Was half way through and my son started browsing ready to criticise, but instead offered to buy it off me. Then I said you can borrow the book even though I have not finished and want to fully instigate its advice. He said you are not getting it back! So he obviously was so impressed. Well it seemed that way as he was quoting from the book and telling his wife you are going to have to read this and adapt it. So good book, and good company to price it so reasonably and to sell a product thats useful and book was in excellent condition.

I also splurged on cds and another of her books. Amazed to find myself taking off like a rocket! 👍

There are a lot of books about de junking your stuff and your life and I have read quite a few of them.However in this one the author looks at the reasons WHY we have too much stuff in the first place.One sentence changed how I felt about my hoarding.The Author suggested that some people surround themselves with "stuff" when they are lonely.This was true in my case ( following an accident that made me unable to work) I missed being with other people on a daily basis and just chatting about this and that. So I filled my life with "stuff", it obviously filled a gap in my life that was previously filled with people.Now that I am aware of that ( and things have changed a little for the better and I have a bit more social contact) I am happily de-junking on a daily basis, but even better, I am buying far, less stuff than ever, as I don't feel the (subconscious) need to do so.

I got this book from the library and realised I had to own it! the methods described are revolutionary in my eyes at last someone who does just tell you how to tidy up but asks why it happened in the first place!
