I needed this to create a hole deep enough to install a 2 inch diameter metal pole to hang a bird feeder on. Using a corded drill and the 2 inch auger bit, I was skeptical due to the dirt being pretty much hardpan. However, the bit was fantastic and cut through the dirt easily. I’m very satisfied with its performance and the quality of product.

These were exactly what we were looking for. Easy to order, reasonably priced and shipped quickly. Hubby uses these to start his holes in the soil for his garden.

These did a good job. I just wish they were longer. I do not know why they say Post Hole in the description as they do not go deep enough for that application. Perfect for bulbs.Would be neat if they were designed to channel the drilled through earth OUT of the hole.

I used this to start a series of 2x2 posts for a temporary fence. It worked perfectly. I also used it to sink my 1 1/2" antenna pole into the ground before anchoring to the eave. Again, it worked great. Then I used it to drill out 4 corners for a 4x4 wood post, which I sunk a post hole spade down between and then a hole digger to pull up the dirt. Made it all so much easier.

I needed to drill a bore under a sidewalk here in San Antonio where our soil is VERY rocky. I used the smaller of the two augers and worked it hard. I honestly expect a weld to break but it held up well. It did bend slightly but I was able to return it to being straight

Used these to drill over 80 3-inch diameter >6-inch deep holes in fairly hard soil for large daffodil bulbs. Held up very well. Good steel, not 'pot' metal.

Saves a lot of manual digging effort, highly recommend.

This is a good mix of sizes for planting everything from garlic cloves to small and medium sizes transplants. They are sturdy and work well, just make sure you have a good drill.
