added this diffuser to our bathroom and the pop of red is so cute! Smells amazing but did bother my “smell sensitive” friend when she came over.

I am giving 4 stars. I feel that's 5 star should be out of this world. With that said, my stars shouldn't diminish all the product DOES offer. I have been a long time user of Alora products. Their price point is considerably higher and the products are apples and oranges including varying in size and length of reeds etc...Only having product for a few days, I feel it gives off considerable scent and a pleasant one at that. I had hoped it would be robust like LeLabo Santal. It is no Santal but unique in itself. It is a scent I would feel comfortable gifting toothers. Natural to the design, the longer the reeds absorb the oils the more effective or noticeable the scent becomes. I look forward to seeing how the diffuser performs in coming months. I believe I will be purchasing additional diffusers @ minimum for myself because the price point. One hinderance which I will tolerate cause it beats the alternative, is the plastic cap that must be removed prior to use is difficult to remove. Again, beats getting a box where oil has leaked all over.

There were an assortment of scents to choose from, I went with the mint and eucalyptus smell. The diffuser comes with wooden sticks and a real plant that's a bit dried out, in this case it was mint leaves on stem that you put into the diffuser liquid with the wooden sticks. Didn't notice if the plant adds much to the scent but it adds a nice touch to the diffuser display. This diffuser is not too overpowering in smell and provides enough to mask typical home smells depending on where you place it. I don't have any animals in the house so I'm not sure how well it does there, mainly have it in the living room to give a fresh scent to the area. I've had this diffuser for about a month now and it's only decreased the liquid level by about a third, so I'd say youll get about 3 months use out it.

The plastic cap was a little bit difficult to pry off at first. Those with dexterity issues may need help. The initial rush of scent may be overpowering but it does settle down once the sticks are inserted. It’s been a month, at least, and it still has plenty of fluid left. The scent is mild. If you like obvious perfume in the air, then this is not it.

This diffuser should last a good while as a generous amount of fragrance is provided. It comes nicely packaged and would be suitable for gift giving. You can choose whether or not to use the enclosed flowers. I will admit to not totally being sold on this particular scent. There is a sweet powdery essence to it rather than the clean crisp spa smell that this combination often indicates. It does look nice and is perfectly suited to being out and visible in decor choices.

Don’t get the bamboo one unless you’re not looking for a scent. Might as well have put a cup of water out with some sticks in it. The mint one was much better.

I bought the Sandalwood scent and it doesn’t smell like sandalwood. It has a very feminine smell to it, not like the woodsy smell it should be. It is strong, which means it works in larger areas, not it’s not the correct smell.
