OverBoard Waterproof Phone Case for iPhone 8 / 7 /6s / 6 , Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Note Series and Other Smartphones up to 4.7 Inches

I use my iPhone 4S for geocaching so I'm out in all weathers using the GPS. This case is perfect. I keep it rolled up in my coat pocket and if it starts to rain, I unroll it and stick the phone in it. I haven't used the case to actually submerge the phone in water so I can't comment on that.It's easy to slip the phone in and out, I can access all the buttons, and I don't even have to take the cover off the phone. The camera still works well (both rear and forward facing) although you can get a subtle image distortion through the clear plastic of the case but normally you wouldn't notice.The phone is really easy to use when in the case, with good screen sensitivity even when it's covered in rain. I've also made and taken phone calls (and used Siri) without any problems - I could hear the other person and they could hear me. I haven't noticed any degradation in signal strength and the GPS works fine - which makes sense as the case has no metal parts.The only functions I haven't tested with the phone in the cover are listening to music, and recording video with sound.I've used the cover in heavy rain and snow, and while the outside of the cover was soaking wet, I've never noticed any water on the phone when I took it out afterwards so the cover seems to be doing its job 100%.Despite being rolled up and unrolled probably 50 times, and being stored loose in my coat pocket with other items, the plastic hasn't ripped or cracked and the sealing mechanism still works. If you're clumsy or a child you might rip the plastic, but I've had no problems at all. I recently lost my first one so I bought another exactly the same so that shows how pleased I am with it.It's not the most expensive case out there, and I might think twice before fully submerging my phone, but for what I need this case is perfect.

UPDATE: Further to experience below, I contacted the manufacturer direct via their website and received a very quick response from their support (thanks Luke!). A replacement was sent out and received the next day. Just been out for another trip on/in the water with the fully working replacement. Will still check before going out in future, but happy again with the Overboard!(Original review): Following a bit of research and review reading, I bought this case new in July 2017 for my iPhone 7. Worked great for keeping phone dry whilst kayaking on Loch Ness, and then for the first half of a beach holiday in Cyprus in May this year. Luckily I checked the case before going out for a swim the second week and found that the lower corners of the case had both split. Love the design but seriously unimpressed with the longevity, as only really used it a few times in wet conditions and failed within a year (eco-friendly materials...?). Need another case for next holiday so looking at the options again...

The case was as described and fits nicely for my Ipone 4. I have tested it with a bit of paper inside in the sink and left it for about half hour - no water got inside. Will have to wait a few weeks before trying it out for real, but hoping it will do the job intended and be ideal for kayaking and when doing activities close to water. A friend has one of these and uses it regularly hence why I decided to get the same brand.

Love this case! Works excellantly on my Galaxy S4 and even floats; always keep tge strap round your wrist though haha!Great photos over the sea and under the water.Always test before using as you never know!

I bought this ti use when out riding, but unfortunately it is very weak where the lariat joins the case and split very quickly, which basically means I can't use it now. Disappointing

I put my iPhone in here and then attach it to my float bag whilst swimming in both lochs and the sea. So far so good. Absolutely not leakage and my phone in totally fine. Would highly recommend.

This is a great case and as it says you can still use your phone to the full whilst in the case and I have used it to receive and make calls and the sound is very clear.I haven't tested it under water but i have faith in the product that it will protect my phone whilst on the water.Would recommend it.
