This was purchased for a 1-1.5 year old, and it has kept them busy every time its been brought out! The fact that there are so many pieces really makes it a joy for children. One of the best parts is that it can "grow" with young kids, based on different developmental stages.Early on, there is the play aspect, where the kid will just throw the donuts, maybe match colors, and stack. (My child seemed to really love watching me spin the donuts on their sides-it was quite entertaining for them). Later, when they recognize colors better, then the identification part comes in. Finally, once numbers and counting are introduced, then this toy can play a big part there are well.The only issue that I had was that one of the posts/cylinders (or whatever you want to call them) was not glued out of the box, so it kept falling off, and had to be reglued so that it would stay in place.Also, if you have a young child that is teething, be forewarned that they will most likely put these in their mouth, and scrap the paint off.

Better than i expected this toy to be. It comes in a little bucket that has cute little doughnut locks which is great for storage, i love how this can be contained in one single area and i dont have to worry about my 2 year old losing the rings or tossing them all over his room/house. Theyre a good size, hard plastic and durable, easy to stack and remove. This is the perfect and must have toy for anyone! I almost gifted this to my cousin and after seeing my toddler play with it i'm definitely buying one for my cousins baby. The colors are bright and easy to distinguish from each other which is great in baby/toddler toys, i've purchased some colored toys and the reds are too similar to the oranges or greens to the blues.

There's not a lot to say about a toy like this. They did well putting the numbers the way they did to create opportunities for counting games. The one knock would be to be careful when picking it up because if you grab it wrong the lid can pop off and it can fall and spill out, but that's more a user error than anything lol.

Perfect for teaching little ones their colors, sorting and counting. Great for hand eye coordination as well. Love that it has the bucket for storage.

I got this as a gift for my son as a way to help him better work on stacking things. Not only are the pieces a great size so that I don’t have to worry about him choking (he often puts things in his mouth), they also come with a carrying case so that cleanup is super easy and not stressful! The parts are made of a sturdy plastic and extremely durable.

My granddaughter has so much fun with this toy. I love that it educates her as well with the colors and shapes. It keeps her busy for a while, which is greatly appreciated! Good buy!

We use these donuts as a reward system for our kiddo. When she gets so many donuts, she gets a reward. And when she misbehaves, she gets donuts taken away. It works great for that purpose. She can count the donuts and knows exactly how many more she needs to get her next reward.The only caveat is the scale on one of the poles. The visible number is showing how many donuts are on the pole. So when there is one donut on it, it shows the number one. That was a bit confusing for our little learner.

The media could not be loaded.  I gave this to my grandson, and he loved it. At 12 months old, it was easy for him to manage and he learned quickly how to stack the colored plastic doughnuts. This is super nice and everything stacks together to fit inside the bucket. Five enormous stars this would make an amazing first birthday gift.
