This is the strongest magnet I have ever found. Just getting it close to the needle plate causes it to latch on. I wanted something like this for a special project where I needed perfect, precise stitching for a very long scarf made of delicate material that has a tendency to slip and slide around.

The magnet on this makes using it a breeze! However, I was slightly disappointed by the strength of the magnet, it slides a bit while sewing. The movement only effects it if you are not paying attention so overall it is worth the price!

The media could not be loaded. I love this little gadget! It’s easy to use and the magnet mount makes it easy to install and remove. The magnet is very strong. Definitely recommend.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was trying to find something to help me do a hem that the stitching was even all the way around the hem. This product looked like it would work. Which it did.
