It works almost TOO WELL. Apply differently with gel!
So, I recently started doing gel nails at home. This was a gamechanger with the removal process. I did my nails last night. I did two coats of this peelable base (let try), then a base coat, color coat, magnetic shiny coat, and top coat. Nails looked gorgeous. Small problem: by today, I couldn't help but pick at the side and realized I might as well take it off. (I also messed up and must not have cured my gel all the way - it was still wet underneath)So, PSA, apply this different. People who regularly use this for their gel polishes apply this IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NAIL, then coat the full nail in gel like they normally would. This allows the gel to last longer and adhere to the nail.. and by the time the edges start lifting, you can peel it off easily since this is applied to the middle.

For someone who likes doing their nails often-
I recommend this to anyone who loves to do their nails often, or want to avoid nail damage as much as possible. I initially applied this on my entire nail and within the following 2-4 days, alot of them would come off in one piece or the front or back peels off and you'd walk around with a broken nail. I thought it was a rip off, but after trying it over and over again, I realized I wasn't using it as well as I initially thought.TIP: If you want your nails to last but want an easy removal, only apply the product on the middle of the nail bed. One small streak will do the trick. Make sure it completely dries before applying your nail polish/gel because it will spread throughout the edge of your nail bed if you dont. After doing this, my nails last as long as 2-4 weeks with easy removal once I file away my edges! And you save yourself from losing nail layers :) I've tried this method with dip and gel and it works amazingly.

Works TOO Well!
Bought this product because I hate to soak-off gel polish after putting it on. Read the other reviews and saw that it REALLY worked. They weren't kidding!Unfortunately, it works a bit too well. I've tried now gel polish and regular nail polish with this product and both have fallen off of my nails in less than 1 day of having polish on. At first I figured I could use it for one-off events that I want to do my nails, but if it falls off within a few hours, that defeats the purpose.Four stars because it dries quick, it REALLY works, and doesn't smell too bad. But, please be mindful when purchasing this product that your polish WILL COME OFF. It can be noted, too, that I am someone that uses my hands a lot - dishes, working on crafts/projects, typing, using my nails as 'tools' (whoops), so that could be taken into account as well.I figure this would be great for young kids that want a manicure or pedicure, but probably wouldn't be totally appropriate for them to keep polish on their nails for long periods of time. Also eliminates the need for them to use the acetone chemical to remove the polish.

Removal is now a dream!
I love doing my nails but I hate the removal process, especially since I enjoy doing my nails weekly. This makes removing my manicures such a breeze! I even use it under gel, acrylic, and polygel. I apply a single thin layer and my mani lasts until I want to pop them off.Caveat is if you don't do your nails often, your mani will pop right off and won't last. You'll want to buff your nails a bit if you want your virgin nails to hold a manicure for much longer until you want to remove it.

Not quite as advertised, but almost perfect
My initial impression of UNT RFT was much lower. I had read in the Q&A's that it was "compatible with any water-based gel," or something to that effect. Well, it absolutely is not compatible with mine. After following directions for the base coats (2) with RFT, the first coat of my water-based gel fractured, grossly, everywhere and absolutely would not dry (cure). I thought it might have been a reaction to the cleanser I used on my nails first, so I wiped of the gel and base coats (they came right off!), rinsed and dried thoroughly and tried again - same result. I was sooo disappointed! But the fact that the mess came off so easily encouraged me to try one more thing: I happened to have a bottle of UNT Fantasy Peel Off Base & Top Coat, which was a total fail as a peel off base (ridiculously hard to peel off). I reasoned that it should be compatible with the UNT RFT and I knew it was compatible with my water based nail colors. So... third time's the charm - and it worked like a charm! I would have to agree with other commenters in that it took some patience, persistence, and experimentation. I also agree that when they say 2 light coats, they mean it (might have been why I had initially had trouble with curing). But if you're a nail polish girl like me, and you love to change colors with you outfits, or just experiment, this stuff is absolutely for you. I also agree with the consensus that, at least on fingernails, it doesn't last long/ won't take much punishment. But since I change my fingernail colors at least every other day, this isn't a problem for me. The fact it comes off so easily - in a matter of a few minutes, tops, and without soaking or stinky polish removers - makes it super fun and is what I've been looking for forever! Lastly, I've found that it seems to last longer on my toenails. I can get 5 - 6 days, easily, with just a bit of touchup. That suits me as well since, like most girls who do their own manis/ pedis, I love to mani and I do it often... but not so much pedi. Once a week is fine.Long story longer: I lovvvvvvve UNC Ready For Takeoff and highly, highly recommend for ladies who like to change colors frequently. If you're looking for something that will last on your fingernails for more than a few days, or on your toenails for more than a week, this probably isn't the product for you. But if, like me, you love to change colors but hate taking them off, you'll love this too!
