Spigenfor Pixel 8 Pro Case, Ultra Hybrid (2023) [Anti-Yellowing] [Military-Grade Protection] - Clear

I decided to try a clear case this time. The case is sturdy and fits my Pixel 8 Pro perfectly. I drop my phones frequently and have already dropped this phone a couple of times with no effect on the phone. The power button is textured so it is easily distinguishable from the volume buttons. The volume up and down buttons are also easy to distinguish. I have had no problems with USB port access. The case has openings for the camera and the raised edges provide additional protection to the camera. The case is hard and sturdy but has enough grip to prevent it from feeling slippery. I like the sleek but protective look of the case but it does show fingerprints with frequent use.

Just enough tackiness to get good grip, good looking case. Haven't dropped the phone to know if it helps. Paired with a screen protector, phone feels safer to carry around. Fits snug.. Time will tell if it yellows.

I've been using Spigen cases for years. I drop my phone, who doesn't? I have yet to have a phone get damaged while having this case on it. It snaps on and comes off for cleaning easily. The way it fits around the sides to the front has protected my screen from coming into contact with the ground every time. The only down and almost not even with mentioning is it did yellow, not dramatically but one of the selling points was the non yellowing material. Great case for the price!

I love that it doesn't turn yellow. I've had it for a few months now. The thing I don't like is that stuff like sand does get in and the phone looks dirty. It is very durable! My phone has suffered a few falls without any damage.

I've been consistently using Spigen cases, specifically the clear Ultra Hybrids, for the past 3 or 4 Pixel generations. This time around, I decided to try the Case Mate sold directly from the Google store and also purchased the Spigen P8 Pro for a side-by-side comparison. The Case Mate turned out to be bulkier, extremely challenging to put on and take off, and the buttons felt loose.On the other hand, the Spigen Ultra Hybrid proved to be easier to both put on and take off, offering a more precise fit and a sleeker profile. Despite being less bulky, it felt more robust, primarily because of the solid buttons that eliminated any concerns about button rattling. After this experience, I highly recommend the Spigen Ultra Hybrid for its ease of use, precise fit, and overall solid feel.

There currently aren't a whole lot of Pixel 8 Pro cases out on the market, and I've used Spigen in the past, so they were a fairly easy pick.The case fits the phone well, and the button covers work great, letting you feel an excellent clicky feedback through them. Additionally, the button for the screen on/off is textured to help differentiate it from the other two, and is very grippy.The back side of the case can get a little slick over time from the natural oil in your hands, but interestingly enough, the sides of the phone feel significantly more grippy for whatever reason. If it matters to you, there's also minimal branding around the sides of the case, but nothing I'd consider too flashy or gaudy.All in all, this is an excellent case if you're just looking for a budget buy to protect your phone, or something to tide you over until something better comes along.

I wanted to ensure I had a clear case to protect my new Pixel 8 Pro phone with at launch and this was a name brand I am very familiar with and has been around for a long time in the Smartphone case business. I received it ahead of the phones launch and had it waiting for when I received my new phone.I opted for this case this year because it appeared to be similar to the higher priced case I used on my previous Pixel phone. As far as clarity it certainly is clear. It appears it would be a great case to protect the phone with. However, after just a single day with this case I decided I would return it and stick to the brand I used last year, even though it costs over two times as much.What I don't understand is why Spigen felt the need to stamp on "AIR CUSION TECHNOLOGY" onto the top right corner of this case. It felt entirely unnecessary and took away from the beauty of your phone. Knocked off a star from my rating for that alone, poor design choice! This is best left on the product page, and not on the case itself.The second reason I am taking away a star is due to the stiffness and hard edges in certain areas of this case. It's not anywhere near as flexible as I would have thought. This does make it hard to take the case off to clean your phone from time to time. Some of the edges, such as around the camera bar are a bit too rough as well, especially near the side of the phone where the curve begins. Makes it too rough feeling in the hand. That coupled with the stiffer material of the case was not pleasing to hold in the hands.It's a good clear case if your only expectation is to protect your device and you want something on the cheaper end. If you want a clear case that will feel much better and have more flexibility when taking it off, spend some more and look elsewhere.
