Excellent stockpot!Nice and sturdy thick bottom and thick side walls. Excellent fitting lid with small steam port in the lid. I’m very pleased with this pot!!This is stainless steel, it’s not non-stick so you will have some stuck on food if you’re frying with little oil. Burning was not a problem with attention to detail and my chili simmered away unstirred for about an hour without burning.Big enough to hold more than 2 whole chickens!

I was very impressed when I first opened the box. The overall quality of the item is excellent, this is not a flimsy stockpot but a durable, heavy pot with a good, solid lid. Everything exudes quality and craftsmanship. Of course, with cookware the proof is in the finished product. I've been working on a creole gumbo for years, and have struggled finding a heavy dutch oven that has the capacity. The roux is fidgety to say the least - and also the most important step. Heat transfer and even heating is critically important. This stockpot lived up to expectations, and I wound up with a perfect roux on my first cook. I'm thrilled with this purchase! Highly recommended.

I waited a couple months to use this pot several times. It is a wonderfully built pot. Nice and heavy on the bottom. The handles are sturdy and I feel completely safe lifting it when it's completely full. The heavy bottom distributed the heavy nicely. I tend to cook on very low heat, to try and prevent any scorching or sticking, and this pot performed flawlessly. It cleans up nicely and looks like it will last a long time.No concerns and I would purchase this item again in the future with no reservations.

I bought this stockpot to replace the non-stick one I previously had. It feels and looks solidly made. The 8-quart size works great for making soup, jelly, and large-group one-pot dishes. It is a great value. My first use was a batch of Chili. It cleaned up easily in the dishwasher. I would buy this again, but I only need one and this looks like it will last a long time. It would make a great gift for someone starting on their own.

I spent a lot of time reading review after review of all different kinds of pots. I even bought another brand first only to realize it was way too small and returned it.For the price, this is an absolutely amazing stock pot! I wanted the measurements on the inside to help me be precise in my cooking/ with my recipes. It comes with a very nice lid as well. It's not too heavy but it's not cheap and thin like my old tamale pot that I ended up burning the bottom of which made me want a new pot in the first place. If I had more money, I'd consider buying one that had a little heavier bottom but the way my home is set up, this pot is a hassle to wash so it's perfect all things considered. But like one of the other reviews noted, the interior bottom got marked up after just one use. It's not enough to have me mark it less than 5 stars. If it gets worse next time I use it, maybe I'll remove a star but it's pretty perfect so far, a very beautiful pot!
