As described. Easy to tighten and loosen screws, has a ridge on inside hoop that fits into notch in outer hoop to hold fabric better, and seems sturdy. I have used the 4 inch size for two pieces so far and the fabric stays taut and doesn't get looser over time when stitching.

I'm very happy with mine. I'm only using the 3-inch so far, but that's the one I was going for and will use the most. I would buy again. I didn't expect the free needles. Yes, I missed them when I was focusing on hoops. I glanced at the hoops, the rating and bought. I'm glad to have the needles too, and will use them.

Not as sturdy as I expected, but probably my fault. It’s been so long since I bought ode of these, it never occurred to me that it would be plastic. I’ve had metal hoops and wooden hoops. It’s nice that there is a selection of sizes, as that’s a great value. I don’t embroider, but I wanted it for some mending I need to do, and the ease of keeping the fabric taut is very beneficial.

This was a gift for our grand-daughter and she was delighted! She loves cross-stitch and this was just what she wanted.

Work fantastic and durable! Screw stays in place but isn’t difficult to maneuver. I am new to embroidery so take it with a grain of salt!

So I think you get what you pay for. Maybe I should have gotten wooden ones or something because I feel like I can’t get the fabric taut enough because it moves when im working on a piece regardless of how tight it is and what fabric im using. You have a great selection of sizes with these though so that’s good because I mostly do small embroidered faces with these.

I don't know why, I thought these were wood and they're not. That's on me. But since they're not wood, they're really flimsy and hard to get fabric to stay where you want bc the plastic material is so slippery. They do work, but I wouldn't buy them again.
