low quality
As someone who has been using air cassettes and analyzing them for years, these are the lowest quality brand out there. Not accurate at measuring mold/particulate level.

Highly recommended
As a home inspector with over five years of experience and more than 5,000 inspections—including extensive mold testing—I can confidently say that the Pro15 Air Sampling Cassette is one of the most reliable and accurate tools in my arsenal. The consistency in sample collection ensures that I get precise, repeatable results every time, which is critical when assessing indoor air quality for my clients. The Pro15 cassette provides excellent particle capture efficiency, allowing for clear, detailed lab analysis. Unlike some other brands I've tried, I’ve never had issues with contamination or inconsistent readings.Durability is another standout feature. These cassettes are well-sealed and packaged to prevent damage during transport, which is essential for fieldwork. The ease of use is also a major plus—quick setup and removal save me valuable time on-site.For professionals looking for a trustworthy air sampling solution, the Pro15 is the way to go. It delivers accurate data that I can confidently present to homeowners and real estate professionals, ensuring that my reports are backed by reliable evidence. Highly recommended!

Have a permanent marker handy at all times.
It works as intended, But it is extremely difficult to write on the label unless you have a permanent marker.

Lab Analyst's Perspective
THE WORST SPORE TRAP. POOR ADHESION. DO NOT BUY!

Flawed Design
I am a licensed mold assessor in the State of FL. Our company bought these in a pinch and we were excited to try something different. I did three different jobs with these cassettes using two separate calibrated pumps. I submit my samples to an independent lab for analysis. The first job they weren’t able to extract any data for 6 of the cassettes. On my second job I ran the samples for a longer duration. This yielded at least some results. On the third and final attempt the samples I submitted contained a shattered slide. The lab was able to get something off from this slide but only because they said it has what can only be described as “rubber cement” on it that held it together. They have a theory that this substance is the same material that prevents spores from sticking to it.

A laboratory's perspective
Over the past few weeks, we have received several of the Pro-Lab PRO15 spore traps from our clients. Of the brands we analyze, the Pro-Lab PRO15 are the least accurate/deficient of them all. We decided to test these PRO15 spore trap cartridges against the other major spore trap brands: Allergenco D and Air-O-Cell. The Allergenco D and Air-O-Cell cartridges had very similar and consistent spore counts, within 10 % of each other. The Pro-Lab Pro15 cartridges spore counts were 75 to 80% less than both other brands tested. We opened the cartridges up to determine the differences between the 3 designs. The adhesive used in Air-O-Cell and Allergenco D is a soft gelatinous mixture, almost gooey, which forces the spores to become embedded or trapped. The adhesive used in the PRO15 is tacky but somewhat ridged which does not allow the spores to become embedded. It’s as if the spore might bounce off this surface instead of being trapped. This tacky adhesive for the PRO15 is so ridged it sometimes adheres the coverslip to the trap in such a way that the coverslip breaks when we try and prepare the slides for the microscope.Spend the extra dollar and get one of the 2 reliable and proven brands.

Fantastic product
Was reluctant to try these as I’ve been using air o cell for years, but I’m impressed!!They collect a lot less “dirt” but a higher spore count than other cassettes I’ve used in the past.
