ColumbiaMen's Plateau Hiking Shoe

At the time of writing I have owned these Columbia Plateau Hiking Shoes (in blue) for 2 weeks and have worn them twice, all day at work.I found these on Amazon, liked the color and the price is pretty cheap for a name-brand shoe. After looking at the mall stores I just refuse to pay $80+ for a cheaply-made pair of sneakers. (These prices are insane!!!)Two characteristics I look for is the shoe tread and fit for my fallen-arched feet. I need a good tread for those days I ride the motorcycle to work and I have to have a comfortable, well-fit shoe as I stand most of the day.For the price, these hiking shoes appear to be quality. They're built no different (in my opinion) than the Nike's, Addidas, Puma's, etc. and for LESSTHAN HALF the price of those brands mentioned!So far, they are very comfortable (I've worn them straight out of the box for one day and had my custon arch-support sport inserts in for the second day. Honestly, my feet felt more comfortable without the inserts!The color is a brighter blue than what the Amazon pictures show but I think they're still stylish while being comfortable. The tread is solid and has a lot of grip for my use. (I don't plan to do any hiking but may use them doing some yardwork when they get old.) I bought these a 1/2 size larger as, in my older age, I'm having some "toe issues" and I'm glad I did! The Columbia's give my toes plenty of room without making the shoe feel too oversized.I would definitely recommend this brand and make/model. Mainly for the price vs quality of construction - even if they start coming apart after a while I've had the $80+ shoes do the same thing. But I wouldn't be surprised if these shoes lasted me for a few years as they appear to be very good quality!

Comfortable sneakers, good cushioning, lightweight.

Not as wide as the sketchers afterburner they replaced. Feel good but by end of day they are tight.Nice shoes, great soles/tread nice quality, just not all day work on my feet use.

I was surprised that a shoe priced this low was so comfortable, and practical. It fit so well and it was like I just couldn’t slip on rocks I stepped onto even if I was actively trying. I’ve only walked in them for a couple of days, so I can’t comment on durability yet, but I like them a lot so far.

Finally got a shoe that is a wide size, Thank you Columbia, I appreciate very much, I have tried on so many shoes that say that are a wide and aren't, again Thank you Columbia.

I really wanted to like these shoes, as I’m a big Columbia fan and the design looked very nice. Unfortunately the shoes were just too wide and puffy for my liking. With an average shoe like Nike, Adidas etc. they are more wider. I own another pair of Columbia shoes of a different model and these one were still wider and puffier.

I went backpacking and walked for days and days with those, they never broke, and you won't soon get a hole through the bottom with these huge comfortable soles. They won't grip enough on very inclined or unstable terrain but for everything else other than rough mountain hiking they're perfect. Durable, comfortable, not too expensive.

Muy cómodos, excelente calidad, talla exacta

Salí de viaje y no quería llevar tantos tenis, solo llevé estos y cumplen para las caminatas largas en ciudad, cómodos y firmes, alguna salida a restaurant/bar ya que no se ven tan deportivos, No resbalan en calle mojada o en piso muy liso.No los he probado para senderismo pero me imagino que mientras no haya mucha agua, ya que no son impermeables, deben cumplir.

No me gustó muy bien ya que el tamaño 27.5 que regularmente compro me quedo lijeramente grande, por lo que me cansan.

Hasta ahora cumple con mis expectativas
