At this price, one usually expects cheaply made plastic and lack of detail- not in this case. This is a common scale, so you can build quite a collection of all your favorite airliners and display them together. With the low price, you could certainly build a nice little collection without breaking the bank.Assembly is simply slipping two parts together for the base, then setting the plane on them. It looks great in my office with all my other aviation regalia, and doesn't look "toy like" as one typically expects in lower priced models. It exceeds my expectations, and is probably the best under-$20 addition to my office so far.

This replica 747 airplane model is quite small, but it looks nice on a desk or display shelf. I'm not sure why the product title says it's a British Airways model, however, since the words Virgin Atlantic are printed on the side of the plane. Also, in the product description it says "Our diecast alloy plane is equipped with brackets, which can be installed to better decorate your desk and bookshelf". I'm not sure what that means. The only way I know to display this plane is with the included stand. There is one small hole on the bottom of the plane where you place it on stop of the stand. Despite the inaccurate description, this is a nice model and looks great on my desk.
