I bought two chargers before this not on amazon thou but those chargers dis not work. I got this one and I am happy with it my laptop is beeping because its not the correct fit. What I love about this product is that it told me what exactly to look for on my original charger like the serial number and the volutage and then match it to the product to see if it would work for my acer laptop. That is what I did i was nervous after buying it but when it came and I plugged it in what it for two days I notice it never made the beeping sound showing no charging. Glad I made the purchase so follow the product instructions to see if this charger type works for your laptop.

I use my laptop to connect to my projector on the deck. I sit out there every night year-round and watch TV with the dog because he doesn't want to come indoors. I have a retractable awning and sit out there even when it rains but the charger unfortunately lays on the deck and sometimes they get wet which means they die so I've killed several of these things. I always like to keep at least one spare. They would last just fine if I wouldn't leave the dang thing out in the rain! The price is great so I can't complain at all.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The product works well it chargers the laptop with no issues. I gave it four stars due to the tip of right angle connector is a bit smaller than the original so it slips out from time to time, other than that I have no issues with this product.

Power connector to laptop gets loose after a few weeks use and then fails to make solid contact with the input power pin of the laptop. I had to fiddle with it with my fingers, and after a while, even that no longer worked,

Got it to replace the charger I forgot on a trip. So far, seems to fit and is powering up my Acer A515-46. Due to the number of different Acer models and chargers, I came to realize that I couldn't be 100 percent sure this would work. The reviews made the whole thing sound like a crapshoot and even a trip to a local Staples, where a kind employee took a lot of time to try and find a compatible adapter failed. So, thinking I needed backup to this backup, I brought a second unit from a second seller. Both chargers appear identical down to the mfgr and model number, however one of them seems to fit just a bit better. Given that they are identical in every way, I have to assume the fit was just a question of factory variances. Both work and I'm keeping both, since they're less expensive than anything at a retailer.

Our laptop stopped charging – we hoped it was the cord the charger and not the computer. Tried this battery – and it charged up right away. Saved us a ton of money!

Work great in my Acer. My dog ate my original cord. Good value.

Charging cable that came with the computer quickly only worked in the exact right position. Then it stopped working. Got this one as a replacement. It only works if you position it exactly right and the connection is loose. But it does still charge the computer when positioned well.
