Very good overall, but a few simple math errors. Should have been proofread better

I teach general chemistry, and insist my students purchase this book. There is simply no substitute for working problems if you want to master general chemistry concepts. This book provides both fully worked problems as well as non-worked problems that have the final answer in the book. I also only recommend books to my students that are affordable, and at ~$20, I consider this affordable!

I bought this to refresh my memory of the college Chemistry that I studied almost 40 years ago. It was good for that; a relatively quick read.

I didn’t find this book helpful. I opened it once or twice and was unable to find questions similar to what I was working on. I ended up passing the class with a B without the book.

It has the solution right under the problem. I suppose if you're a lazy teacher, this may be good for you (but shame on you for being a slacker). I was hoping the problems would be on one side and the answers on the other so I could refresh myself to return to college. It's no good for that.

My son said it helped him tremendously.

This book works wonder help show shortcuts and get through parts I didn’t understand during the lecture.

Essentially an updated version that I studied back in 1957-58. Excellant for working out (precticing) chemical reaction equations. Sent to my grand-daughter for her college chem. class. " Practice makes perfect"

My husband will be using this to help my high school aged daughter with her class. He finds the explanations good and especially likes the many practice problems.He was disappointed though that the book did not come with a "Periodic Table of Elements". At the end of the table of contents it says that this table is on the inside front cover. There is nothing but an advertisement for Schaum's resources on the inside cover of our textbook.

Testo completo che spazia in tutta l'area chimica. Molti esercizi con relative soluzioni. Lo consiglio. Lo cercavo anche in italiano, ma meglio così, mi sono ripassato anche l'inglese
