Aidells Cajun Style Andouille Sausage 12 Oz (4 Pack)

Too hot.

We have been customers of Aidell sausages for years and especially liked the Cajon type. But the last packet (bought about a week ago at the local Publix store) effectively terminated our enthusiasm for his product. First, we noticed that the casing was tough and harder to cut than we remembered. Second, the contents was lumpy consisting mostly of small junks of grizzle and who knows what else - certainly not of good meat. Also, the taste, while tolerable, was not nearly as distinctive as we were used to. At a about a dollar a piece this purchase was a complete waste of money. Whatever happened to change a fine product into something this unpalatable is most regrettable and casts serious doubts on the Aidell company's quality control. - Dr. Karl H. Heller

I include this in my jambalaya recipe and it really adds great flavor! It’s a key ingredient that’s makes a big difference. Love the taste.

Aidells' sausages are my absolute favorite, so I decided I'd try their Cajun Style. It's bursting with flavor! It has a cajun spiceyness to it that you just don't get out of the regular flavors. I quite enjoyed the heat. Plus they're super juicy! I've been able to eat these, chopped up with a bowl of white rice, a plate of red potatoes, and even in hod dog buns.

I buy cheaper at the grocery stores or on Aidells website but Cajun Style is great. Yes as another reviewer says it has a bit of a kick, but that is what is the purpose of a jambalaya or having a kick with some scrambled eggs. YUMMY! That's what I wanted. It's the perfect amount of spice. My absolute favorite by Aidell's Sausage is Artichoke and Garlic. Great for anytime.

The casing is tough and chunks of fat pieces. Won't buy this product again.

When I first started buying them they were great but the last couple of packages had big chunks of hard fat.
