Fits bigger than size shown on tag

I got this for my granddaughter to wear. She is currently wearing 6-9 month clothes nut it is close to time to move up a size, so I ordered the 6-12 month size for her. It is very big on her almost like she has an 18 month outfit on. Honestly hoping it will shrink some when it is washed so it will fit correctly for the next few weeks.
